Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
Since when do conventioneers park at local parking lots. I sure don't. i walk from the hotel (if not already attached) to the CC... no matter what city i go to one in. Did you know San Fran's Mascone Center does not even have a parking garage/lot? Can't use the local show's excuse either, since they mostly go to the IX Center (for now).

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Funny thing is, I can remember back in the late 80s early 90s pushing the pedal to the floor to get as much speed out of the Chevy Cavalier as possible so I could get freak out my unknowing suburban friends when we hit the obviously eroding hillsides then. How is it that it is now news nearly 20 years later when we knew it then? Someone else had to know about it, because the road we repaved at least twice a year. It would be interesting to see how thick the asphalt is around that area.

There's also one in the driveway of a very small house on Ridge Road, on the north east side right after the Ridge Road/I-71 overpass. Its usually covered with a blue tarp, but when it gets windy out, the cover gets blown away. True Story.

IIRC, That part of Euclid is on the National and Local Registers of Historic Places. Wouldn't that have an impact on how the signs looks and where it is placed?

^Correct. CSU is not building the dorms, private developers are - thus the "mediocrity." If this were a CSU project, it would HAVE to be LEED Certified per policy. We will never see CSU take on any student housing project unless the terrorist blow up Chicago, Detroit, and Buffalo - thus requiring all of the survivors relocating here.

Professional Wrestling
So I took the kids to BW3 on Sunday to see the Summer Slam PPV. They really wanted to see Undertaker and his Hell in the Cell match with Edge (Don't ask why I know all this). It was all ok, mostly predictable. What was really off the hook was the Hell in a Cell match. It was more like Hell in a Cell and TLC all put together. Kickin'!! Of course, Dead Man kicked Edge's ass. After he left the ring and went to the curtain, he turned around, saw edge was still twitching, went back to the ring and set up a ladder. He then proceeded to give Edge a Choke slam from Hell from the top of the ladder and put him through the ring floor. Ok, I've seen that before... nothing to shocking. Cool, but not shocking. He then did the raise-arms-roll-back-eyes thing, threw his hands down toward the new hole in the ring where Edge formerly made contact with and huge fiery balls came from said hole. Not just one or two... many! I lost count. I just thought that was a fine presentation of fakeness.
