Yeah. It's not like he has some weird commune of young male architects and has abandoned his wife and children for another woman.

Where do you live in Cleveland / Cuyahoga County?
Hmmm... 1.3% of the UO voters live in my neighborhood (West Boulevard). Oh, that would be me and only me.

Cleveland: Burning River Festival
BRF was divided into two different functions this year. The "Green Fest" portion ran from 11 to 6 and the BRF portion (the part with the headliners/music) was from 6:30 to 11. I know for a fact no tents on the boardwalk were closing down at 4, as I was one of the many red-shirted volunteers. There may have been a couple inside the large tent though as they were overwhelmed with families and had run out materials to give away. The music fest portion started promptly at 6:30 and the opening act finished moments before the storm hit. The lead singer then had the crowd sing a quick version of "rain, rain, go away...," reggae style. For the almost 100 people that stuck it out, they were treated to a reader's digest version of all the major Dave Matthew's hits. That started a little after 10:30. I left around 11:30 (I had been there since 11:00 AM) so I'm not sure how long they played.I think midnight is the curfew. Last years drew around 7,000 people, this years was projected to hit 12,000. I know they beat last years, but not sure by how much. I have a butt-load of pi as well and will post the best of soon.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
which is when everyone gets up for... beer. ;) exactly my point....take those away, do away with the beer ushers, and if these 'fans' really are there to watch the game, they will not be drinking AS MUCH at the game. What's this "game" thing you speak of?

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Was across the river today for a volunteer orientation for Burning River Fest and noticed (without my camera) that the two southern most buildings in the site were being demoed. One was the former Groovey Bar and I don't recall the other. That leaves the former Fagans as the last building standing.

A monument conceived as a tribute to the ideals of Cleveland ~ Builded by her citizens and dedicated to social progress, industrial achievement and civic interest ~ Patriotism Progress Culture I think that is on Public Hall, not the CC... but I could be mistaken.

I was thinking the same thing. Nice shots. If that were me taking pics from that high, I would be peeking in peoples windows to take pictures... but I guess thats why I don't have that kind of access.

A decision has not been made yet - only a recommendation. Our friends, the commissioners, can still vote to place it wherever they wish. I invision they will each vote for a separate location, thus putting off the final site selection for a number of years as a more detailed study of each site will have to be done. And given the current financial situation of the county, plus upcoming elections and the inevitable solar eclipse, it will be at least another ten to fifeteen years.
