    Ask Uncle Jimmy (Vinci).
  2. Anyone know the who/what/where/why of the demo on the building next to Erieview Cemetery? I noticed it yesterday on my way to ball game from hell. I have some pics, but they are not cooked yet.

Blaze has also done work for CSU. Horribly, I might add. They were the contractors responsible for the year long delay in the Admin Center/Howe Mansion re-hab. Perhaps its time to relaunch that old website of yours. Do me a favor, will ya? Find out who assassinated Jim Vinci at Diamond Jim's years ago.
  5. Off topic - sorry. Is that the Constitution tattooed on his arm?

As I have been playing catch-up in my reading and posting while my brain took a vacation this past spring, I just wanted to say I love the updated SMF and the mods which were added. And although the theme I used to use was not reinstalled, the BackinBlack rocks way more. Excellent job.
  7. None of this explains why I can't find a job. 6 1/2 months and counting.

If you use Firefox, try the Boost Extension for Facebook. One of my parts allows you to mouse over an image and it immediately is shown in a pop up. I am so very upset Hasbro has made the creators of Scrabulous pull their app.
  9. I might do it even if I don't need anything.

No thank you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What do people think of the new layout?
  13. Very cool site that tracks accidents all over the country on most any road. http://saferoadmaps.org/ From their home page:
  14. Those weather balloons are huge too. They are as tall as an average adult when on the ground... and as round as some of them too. :-D
  15. The Balloons look great on the plaza. That space is such an excellent place for art. Remember the giant spider? That was such a very cool piece.
  16. Tonight and tomorrow night there is also rooftop bar accessed through the Center for Health Affairs building on Star Plaza. Excellent view of the main stage and festival. The official festival martini will be served there. Look for me - i'm coordinating it.
  17. I have been keeping a photo diary of FEB for the past year or so on flickr. You can access the set here: http://flickr.com/photos/muscatello/sets/72157594539959654/ Here are some relatively recent shots of demo work and site prep.

Photo of Las Vegas Development from the air. (Sorry for such a large image - but I wanted to stress the sprawliness of it all.)

  20. Correct. Except the renderings I posted last July were already about a year old, so who knows what it will like now. I looked through the architects website and there is nothing new posted on it.
  21. I am pretty certain it is a staging area for the student center. At least that was what was talked about before I left. Incidentally, the staging are for the new College of Education is supposed to be in the parking lot that is to the east of the current bookstore. That should be happening any day now too. Yes. Somewhere in here - search. :-)
  22. I was trolling through Flickr looking for some cityscapes to use as my desktop image and stumbled across these purrrdy shots. Sadly, you will have to go directly to each URL to view them. (LOVE this one) (This one too) http://www.flickr.com/photos/28433276@N05/2668331225/
  23. His co-writer is one of my best friends. He writes manhunter. I remember when he used to work at Super City Comics in the Old Arcade. I sure miss that place. He's won something like 4 or 5 Eisner Awards and the Cleveland Press "Excellence in Journalism" Award in 2000. He also has a good graphic novel he co-wrote called Torso - about the torso murders and staring one of Cleveland's favorite "real" crime fighters, Elliott Ness.
