  1. Ugh, ODOT is so one dimensional. Their solution is always to build more highways and expand highways. Columbus really doesn’t need more sprawl.
  2. 15 stories on high street? That’s a tough sell /s
  3. Has there been any mention of a kitchen with this expansion? I miss their Nashville hot chicken sandwich.
  4. Rents at the Verve are around $1,750+ for a one bed…that’s crazy for Columbus.
  5. I agree the big windows are a much needed addition. Still, they’re some really cheap materials in the second picture. I wish they would continue with bigger windows and drop the Soviet style design.
  6. I wonder if they’ll eventually switch to a tower crane. It looks like they’re running out of space to maneuver the current truck crane.
  7. They’re going to build 1,300 parking spots for only 359 units? Am I missing something? That seems crazy.
  8. Greenhouse is just starting to peek above the fencing
  9. The reality is that Columbus and surrounding burbs have so much available land. This plot was probably pretty cheap so it would be hard for a developer to justify density like Bridge Park. However, I think this is a big step in reducing some open land inventory while adding a substantial amount of housing.
  10. Just came across this YouTube video.
  11. The sprawl in this area will be incredible.
  12. I wasn’t able to grab a pic, but it looks like the Hilton’s crown lightning is finally online.
  13. The new Orthopedic and Surgery Center at NCH is moving along.
  14. Snagged this while stopped at a light on 5th.
  15. Pearl is moving along at a good clip. It’s gone vertical
  16. What’s the advantage of using a helicopter lift vs using a crane?
  17. https://semianalysis.com/intel-cuts-fab-buildout-by-4b-to-pay-billions-in-dividends-first-net-loss-in-over-30-years-cutting-fab-buildouts-but-committed-to-growing-the-dividend/ Not sure if anyone has heard the news yet, but Intel reported horrendous earnings last night. As a result, they’re cutting $4b from their fab buildout plan to boost dividends. This news has made me question if they’ll actually finish 2 fabs let alone 8-10. Very turbulent times ahead at Intel…
  18. Has there been any news regarding companies potentially setting up operations here to service Intel?
