I would listen to @Htsguy in that case and fence it. Dunno what type of fence, though.

You can spray the fox pee on everything in the wintertime. It also depends on what else they have around to eat. I’m in Aurora, on a lake where deer swim all the time, and I haven’t heard any complaints from neighbors with gardens. Maybe they just got lucky though 🤷‍♂️

Can’t go wrong with any of the Hercule Poirot classics such as Murder on the Orient Express.

Other than not fitting the image and automatic bookmarking, those are solid reasons I guess. I just don’t like the thought of “well, my battery died, guess I can’t read now…” I also hate the loss of all physical media.

Nope, and never will. Why are you a convert? I see no appeal to them.

Couldn’t be further from Severance. It’s just office space in the basement?

Hey, LCD still slaps. I got turned on to some weird stuff reading about the myriad songs they sample. Jamaica Running by The Pool, por ejemplo.
  10. That’s exactly what a sentient being would say!

Finally finished Infinite Jest. Overall I’m more positive on it than everyone else in this thread. Plot is not DFW’s strong suit here, and the non-linear narrative does a lot of the heavy lifting, but all in all a fascinating read. Any book that makes you reread the first chapter after done is a good one by me.
