  1. Huh? Not sure how that works...
  2. You'll adapt. And then you'll have a friend or family member in your car while you're tooling around, and they will be white knuckling the S*%$ out of themselves. I just tell my wife "That's city driving, babe."
  3. Sounds like someone needs to go have a few beers with @KJP off in the corner at Masthead.
  4. How many units have been added to this area in the past 10-15 years? Its gotta be a pretty crazy number, right?

Ken, my wife thought it was a good idea for us to drive the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula in one shot, then drive the Cork. Needless to say, i was tapped out after that. And balls of steel is putting it lightly.

@YABO713 Not logistics-related, but i would say that there is no such thing as Irish Cuisine. If you or your dad are at all picky eaters, I would suggest going to Italian restaurants, as noodles and sauce is incredibly hard to F*&^ up, even for the Irish. A few anecdotes from our honeymoon: 1: my wife ordered beef vegetable soup - came with 1 piece of meat, a crap ton of veggies, and made in chicken broth. 2: my wife ordered a pepperoni pizza - the pepperoni were cut up hot dogs. 3: they had for condiments Hellman's ketchup (didn't even know that was a thing) and Heinz Mayo. I love Ireland, but its a culinary Bizzaro world.
  7. KJP and his insane train-related sleuthing. Was that you or Hercule Poirot on the Orient Express?
  8. I think this would be the coolest building in Cleveland to rehab. I'm a sucker for AD/SM art and architecture, something we definitely don't have enough of around these parts.
  9. Hear hear! That tower was so cool, and would have really extended things west.
  10. We need to install the bollard system from the Watch Dogs video game. Occam's Razor.
  11. Something something Due Process? something something...
  12. Which is why I said "almost anything". Sorry, I wan't aware that this was a positive opinions only thread. I agree that something needs to be done. I am just not impressed by this woman's work, and think there are better options.
  13. If this stuff is your bag, then its fine to hang on a wall in your house. But I don't think its gonna look good writ large. A living wall would be better than this. Then again, almost anything would be.
  14. This is an April Fool's thing, right? Her stuff looks like Jackson Pollack with a crayon.

What is disturbing about them? They suck, but sh*t happens. Lakers and Clippers have had more games missed than us this year, to name but two teams.
  16. I drove past that church every week for probably 25 years. I don't think i have ever seen it in use. It is nearly inaccessible, and the mere fact that its still standing shocks me. As someone in favor of preserving everything we have, there is no reason not to tear this thing down.
  17. Someonoe has been watching a lot of Curse of Oak Island, I see.
  18. Are these homes being rented or flipped?
  19. ^ Yikes! 0/10, would not park.
  20. The old Southside parking lot is FINALLY getting developed?
  21. For the MLS team that some on this forum seem to think we are bound to get. Getting back on topic, do we know if CSU and PHS have had talks re: the redevlopment of the Wolstein Center?
  22. Either of the surface lots on the south side of Prospect at 14th would be nice to get rid of, though they are kind of on the small side.
  23. But your concern was for the pedestrians before. And I countered that they could safely cross Lakeside. ETA that Lakeside isn't the only east-west street in Downtown. There are multiple routes one could take if the Shoreway were to close. Would they add a few minutes to the commute? Certainly. But we are spoiled in Cleveland with our overbuilt highways. Out of towners LOL at our "rush hour".
