  1. Sorry, @gruver, but i don't think that second shot is helping your case that much. Especially the way it transitions from concrete to glass - it looks like a poor attempt at one of those Miami office buildings. The only part i like is the tapering at the top. @KJP, why can't the building commission comment that they would like to see a little more height, other than the request being uncouth?
  2. ^ That is one ugly building, particularly the daytime shot.
  3. More specifically, Northcutt's heart wrenching drop.
  4. This bridge is definitely in need of some TLC... https://www.cleveland.com/cityhall/2021/01/bridge-project-on-clevelands-west-side-over-i-90-to-limit-traffic-over-for-14-months.html
  5. Yes, the Steelers made it close. But the defense did not play horribly yesterday - Rudolph threw up some 50-50 balls, and their receivers made nice plays. Its a shame that Ward most likely won't be able to play.

I got Charles Bukowski's Hot Water Music for Christmas. Very scatological so far, but good.
  7. I just saw on the website that used to be our daily newspaper that he was hoping for a fumble. But it was pretty clear that they were running out the clock. Not sure why the Texans did not just kneel, but with Romeo at the helm, who the hell knows?
  8. i agree that this was nice, but can anyone explain his use of timeouts at the end of the first half? Was he just f'ing with them?
  9. ^ Wow, that is a night and day difference!

Trigun was meh for me, Escaflowne was pretty cool. Berserk is fun. Cowboy Bebop is the gold standard for all animated stuff for me, Pixar included.

I always try to watch it, then get bored/confused and give up after four or five episodes. Doesn't help that i always fall asleep watching it. Supposedly the ending makes it all worth while.
  12. I know it’s way too early but, assuming the Wolstein goes bye-bye, where does a new arena go? It would be nice to have it over by the rest of the athletic facilities, but there isn’t much room over there.
  13. Wow, that looks so much better! Its amazing what some competent landscaping and trees can do. Where is Jane Campbell when you need her?
  14. How many did we run for against Pittsburgh? 75. Our rushing YPG against BAL, IND, and PIT? 112.33. Baker's passing YPG? 188.7. That is not an encouraging sign from a third year starter. Drew Brees averaged 191.6 in his third year in the league, which was 17 years ago. Favre's third year he averaged 206.4, and it was only his second year actually playing, and was in 1993. I don't want a QB controversy, i just want a decent QB.
  15. Our coaches may not have given up, but some of the players sure did. And I disagree with you about Baker; the pick that's been discussed was atrocious, and he hasn't looked comfortable since the league got some tape on him. You have OBJ, Jarvis, Two good tight ends (not Njoku), two of the best backs in the league, a really good o-line, and you can't throw for over 250 yards in a game?
  16. What @Boomerang_Brian said. I think it looks cool. The designer's definitely made the choice and went with it. Idk, maybe its looks too fancy to use? I am also curious as to what @jmicha's communal space looks like, for elucidation's sake.
  17. Our kick and punt coverage is trash, and has been through all five games. And on the flip side, our return game has been... uninspiring. Peoples-Jones looks like he is running in quicksand. And that is only 4 games, since Seibert was here week 1.
  18. The biggest thing holding the Browns back (aside for Sendejo's existence) is the unfortunate fact that we have to kick off after we score.
  19. it's not the same, but they are supposed to start doing cult movies at the Masonic Temple.
  20. Did his presentation address the accessibility issues that plague the East Bank?
  21. Can we get Stark to develop it? As always with these projects, you need to strike while the iron is hot. I wouldn’t want it to languish in development purgatory.

That picture is more stimulating than the entirety of Radiohead's oeuvre.

"‘The Bends’ is second only to ‘Pet Sounds’ as the most overrated album ever."

^^ Radiohead is maybe the most overrated band of all time. Kid A and OK Computer are turgid, onanistic drags. i just do not understand what people see in them.
  25. Of course there are. But some are better suited for this project than others.
