Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I'm with @CleveFan, the stripes look good. Those faces needed something interesting visually, since they don't benefit from the sweet reflections the North and West faces get.

Why can't this go into the Med Mart? Seems better suited, and is pretty much turn-key, no?

Cleveland: St. Clair-Superior (non-Asiatown): Development and News
These are cool. I think I like these better than the Quonset huts being proposed in Ohio City, and they sort of match Church + State.

Does that someone rhyme with Schmamazon?

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I believe you. I just find it interesting that their estimate is triple what SW themselves have said they were spending.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
$1.4 billion? I didn't know they were putting the Burj Khalifa up on Public Square.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
The solution is simple: just build another 5-10 600-800' buildings, then the 1,000' SW building wont look out of place. ?

Any idea when we will see any plans/renderings?

Cleveland: Brooklyn Centre / Old Brooklyn: Development and News
Whoa! Beyond redemption? I mean, it could use some TLC, but it’s not that bad. There is a lot of nice residential in that area, inclusive of W56. Ridge north of Memphis is a different story, though...

Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Athletic Club Redevelopment
Does anyone know how leasing is going at the Athlon? I feel like this has gotten overshadowed by The Lumen.

I don't care how old those renderings are, I want that goddamned awning!

Yeah, that sounds high to me. Maybe that stretch of 237 against the metro parks by St. Joes?

Casino Phase II is the vaporware of downtown development (along with Nucleus). I wouldn’t hold my breath on it.

Isn’t there talk about CVSR extending to downtown as part of the Towpath trail or something?

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I don’t know how many times I can say “something other than retail”

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
I agree that the plans are... not the best. I also agree that it would be great if every store front was filled with cool stores and arcades, etc. But arguing that retail is on the upswing in a city that is still bleeding residents, in a downtown where we celebrate BOA taking up a storefront, in a COVID-19 world, when brick and mortar has been dying a slow and painful death, and when Amazon is about to drone deliver all of our wants and needs, is like tilting at windmills. Does anyone have a non-retail suggestion?

I don't want this thread to get locked again, but suffice it to say that it hasn't worked there yet. What is that definition of insanity?
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
It is not the best plan, but its not nothing. How would you like to see the space utilized @MyPhoneDead? And you can't say retail.

Cleveland: Glenville: Development and News
I too like Knez, but these are really cool. They fit in well with the surrounding houses, and they have more vitality? spirit? than Knez's more staid design.
