If lawmakers were debating only how to spend the revenue, and not trying the eliminate large swaths of the legislation voted on by the people, then the people wouldn't have to talk about an amendment.

So your position is that people should not get upset when what they voted on is being materially altered, for the worse, by people who didnt want it passed in the first place? They should just chill and let Rs get what they want, because thats your "team"? If people didnt express displeasure with what is being proposed the Rs would assume their constituents are happy with what they are proposing (which of course they arent).

Spirit is the worst, though I've not flown Southwest yet (and probably never will). Frontier is cramped, and they also nickel and dime you, but at least their computer system doesnt go down for multiple days and totally screw up travel for who knows how many people.

This has always been my argument against it. To me, the difference between getting dark at 6pm as opposed to 5 pm is negligible compared to getting light out at 9 am vs 7:30-8 am.

Frontier is certainly not the greatest, but they fly to a lot of smaller airports that make life much easier if you visit sort of off the beaten path places.
