I also don't recall them gerrymandering the F*** out of the state and wantonly ignoring legislation they themselves passed to further consolidate their power.

Ohio Education / School Funding Discussion
Cool story. Both are either equally important or equally unimportant. Neither have anything to do school funding.

Is this right next to the Rock Hall expansion? Has there been dialogue between the Haslam's and RRHOF regarding developing the area?

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
Ineffable_Matt replied to Boomerang_Brian's post in a topic in Northeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionTwo questions on the picture in this story: What's with the archaeological site, and what's with the activity gateway on Detroit by the bridge (seems like a weird place to put an entrance)?

Was just going to mention these. LIke a lot of things done in Cleveland from the mid-90s to today, it was a half-hearted attempt at best. These things should be all over the place: downtown, all the Agora locations, the old Leo's Casino, hell I'd even throw one down at the old Front Row. ETA: Definitely need one for Swingos as well.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
AmTrust is not looking for new space. After the two waves of lay-offs and COVID there was a great emptying of the building. about two whole floors worth of empty desks, I'd say. And the NY bigwigs are definitely keen on not spending more money than they have to, so a new building would be a non-starter.

Thats cool. I think even just putting some gold filigree where the names were would work pretty well.

US Economy: News & Discussion
This is false. No monopolistic state, NCCI, or bureau state work comp programs require pre-employment drug screening. There are drug free workplace credits that employers can qualify for, however.

My wife would not let me take pictures, but we went to dinner at Luca on the Viaduct last weekend and hot damn does it have a great view of the SW building. Someone needs to resurrect that apartment building/viaduct park plan ASAP! @KJP please tell me this was one of the builds you were teasing before.
