Cleveland: Random Development and News
The Greyhound station is way too cool a building to waste on a City Target.

I've always thought the same thing.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Gee, why would anyone want to cover that up and be able to traverse it? Must be a conspiracy.

Does Bridgeworks finally getting greenlit change any of the calculus for them re: phase two?

Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
This would be amazing. It’s a big ask to soak up all the empty storefronts, entrances, etc. this building has on 9th and Chester. A City Target could do it no sweat. How much in the way of groceries do they carry, though. Can’t imagine Heinens would be happy to have another grocery store that close.

It was assuming PS, but can’t argue with Hammy lol.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Centennial (925 Euclid Redevelopment)
Awesome. 2nd biggest project downtown, and on the second most important intersection downtown. This is gonna be huge.

Thats what i was sort of thinking as well. Dunno if Intro Phase II precludes that from happening, though.

Functional street grids? In or near downtown? Talk about wishful thinking lol. Seriously, though, that area def needs a municipal parking garage. But traffic at the 25th/Lorain intersection could get pretty bad. Is there a better spot around there? Everyone used to park in the Dave's lot, lets put it there!

Cleveland: Transit Ideas for the Future
Funny enough, this is why I would think surface trains would be the way to go. Instant road diet!

That was for the Spice TV ads that you watched through squiggly lines.

Cleveland Heights: Development and News
I think this is Cleveland Heights; pretty close, anyhow. IDK how reliable the source is, but has it been common knowledge that Nighttown is reopening as a steakhouse?

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Yeah, that picture would look sweet with a dense canopy of trees on the corner there. Hell, you could run it all the down 9th to Superior. There are already significant beds, planters, etc. between PNC and AmTrust.

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
They really need to do something with that abomination of a plaza at PNC. Put the F'ing Superman statue there. Something. Anything.

@KJPgetting name-dropped twice in the 8:20-8:40 segment on 92.3 this morning. Basically, all the talking heads on the show agree that the rehab is the opening salvo in new stadium negotiations.

I just bought two tickets to the show. Not a ton left, but if you go there soon you should be able to snag some.

Cleveland: Detroit-Shoreway / Gordon Square Arts District: Development News
Are they gonna put up another paddle ball statue? Maybe one of Mel Brooks as governor decrying the other one as defective? All kidding aside, what is the best bet for what is going in here?

Favorite Music At The Moment?
Took me a long time to get into the Silver Jews (still working at it lol), but for about a year now I've been listening to the Purple Mountains record every couple weeks or so. Hot damn, this is quite possibly the best saddest album of all time. Reminds me of The Band's self titled album (lots of great tunes on that one, but Jawbone is the best, hands down), but much more suicidal.
