Announced earlier this month...
More flights for the summer season. Would be nice if these flights were year-round but not sure whether or not these airlines can justify year-round service at this time.
Among the newest offerings:
In May, Frontier Airlines started flying between Cleveland and Charleston, South Carolina, twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The seasonal route is scheduled through early November.
Allegiant Air starts flying between Cleveland and Charleston on June 6, also on Thursdays and Sundays.
Allegiant also is adding new service to Norfolk, Virginia, starting June 7. That route will run Fridays and Mondays. Cleveland hasn’t had nonstop service to Norfolk since 2008, when United Airlines offered the route. Both the Charleston and Norfolk routes are scheduled through mid-August
