  1. Yeah it really hasn’t changed much. I remember as a kid watching the Huntington Center, Riffe Center, Franklin County Courthouse, William Green Building, and Three Nationwide get built in the 80’s and 90‘s and since then not a whole lot. Maranova, 5/3 Center, and Nationwide’s North Bank Condo tower are pretty much all the tall buildings 20 stories or taller that we’ve had since 2000. Finally we’re getting the Hilton, North Market tower, and I pray to God we get Harmony Tower. The skyline is finally changing a little but the more the merrier! ETA, too bad Millennial Tower looks dead. That would’ve filled a nice gap in our skyline.
  2. I guess you’re entitled to your opinion. I personally love Cleveland’s skyline. I agree with OhiosFinest. We need a new tallest. Rhodes tower is hideous and it’s been our tallest for 47 years. I’d love to see a new skyscraper that changes our whole skyline along with whats already being built and proposed.
  3. I’m not sure if this has been posted before but I ran across this 1973 aerial photo of downtown Cleveland.
  4. Thank you for the clarification. 361” isn’t too shabby. I’ll take it.
  5. I think the new team song should be Low by Flo Rida. Apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur, the whole “soccer” club was looking at her. She hit the flo, next thing you know, shorty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low! 😬
  6. https://kids.kiddle.co/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_Columbus,_Ohio This site says 380 feet.
  7. Do we know exactly how many feet this tower is supposed to be? On one website I see 380 feet on another website I see 342 feet. I’m assuming it’s 380 and if it is it will be almost as tall as three nationwide at 408 feet at 27 stories.
  8. I think it’s supposed to be 28 stories? I’m assuming it will be almost as tall as 3 Nationwide
  9. I’m not a fan of the name either. I mean, how “low” can you go? I’ll also just call it Crew stadium Edit to add, and I’m a Browns fan. Not necessarily a Haslams fan. They make some odd decisions. Screw the highest bidder, Put a name on the stadium that means something. But whatever. I guess it’s just the stadium Edit to add again, who gives 2 f’s they’re based in Columbus. I would never use them. I bet 90% of the fans wouldn’t either. Poor choice in my opinion Edit to add again, 90% is probably too generous
  10. They put the tower crane for the new Hilton tower in Columbus on the sidewalk as well.
  11. I snapped this picture today. The stadium is much bigger in person. It really has quite the presence.
  12. Beautiful! Columbus will now have a midtown skyline
  13. My bad! I guess I should’ve mentioned this was a picture of the Matan
  14. Someone posted this on Twitter.
  15. Could JP Morgan and Chase possibly move its world HQ here? Prime location! https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-28/jpmorgan-weighs-shifting-thousands-of-jobs-out-of-new-york-area
  16. I read these forums everyday. I don’t ever reply or make any comments but even if the current version sucks, which it does, it’s still a great addition to the skyline. Would I rather have a 35 story tower? HELL F’ing yes I would! But considering we haven’t had much construction over 12 stories in the last 20 years, I’ll take what we can get.
