I like the height but the design is trash. Do better architects.

It's really unfortunate. The whole design is brutal. There's nothing pleasing about it whatsoever. It will be an eyesore for years to come. Good job commission!

No, I think the word terrible is not strong enough. I would fire the architect and blacklist them for life. They should never be allowed near another project ever again.

Seriously though, what happened to the state of architecture in America? Are all the architects on drugs? It's a serious question. If you go overseas, they still build beautiful buildings that last the test of time. Here, it's like a bad acid trip.

I would go with neutral colors but to each their own I guess. Even if you keep the colors the same, it still needs repainted.

What's the chance they ever repaint the entire convention center neutral colors? I mean everything, the roof and all. It's an eyesore.

They just renovated that garage a few short years ago. I'm sure it will be around for a while.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Demolition is expected to begin this spring to make way for a new mixed-use Columbus tower that recently earned a tax credit from the state of Ohio. Bluestone Brothers Development was awarded a $4.5 million tax credit on Jan. 27 from Ohio’s Transformational Mixed-Use Development Program for “The Estrella” project. Shoot, I'm here for it. I go to the dog park with my Husky a few times per week. I will check this out once it's open. Speaking of dog parks, I wish there were more of them.

The building they would tear down has a lot of history of multiple different night clubs, It's interesting they wouldn't build it all the way to the corner. They must not own the strip of property that's currently a parking lot.

I'm not usually one for demolishing towers but in this case it's such an improvement. It's impressive. It shows off the main tower in all its glory. The interaction with the river is beautiful.

I just don't have enough words to describe how bad this is. The more I look at it, the more I hate it. It's a slap in the face to the people of Columbus. The architecture is so bland and boring. This is a total bait and switch.

Extremely disappointing and ugly as hell. What a downgrade.

Which has me thinking maybe this might actually happen with the Haslam's money. I'm sure Jimmy and Dee have a lot of interest in what gets built around the stadium.
