Absolutely love the arch on the new bridge and how it works with the other bridge types in the area.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
My thoughts exactly, of course it may be intentional due to potential cold lake breeze, but it also didn’t have to be held there. Those renderings sure make the freeway/railway gap look small, visitors from out of town will be like, wait how do I get to the venue? Regardless very happy it’s happening and I’m sure it will end up looking cool on TV. Hopefully they get footage of the new harbor bridge....

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I don’t k ow why I was expecting something awesome, but here is our normal wasted opportunity. Why have it on the lakefront if you build it like this? Completely missed on a chance to integrate the Mather into the design which would’ve been cool optics... smh

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Anyone else feel like if they go with the idea to build a new tower across lakeside and tear down the existing block to redevelop with a park and or new buildings per kjp idea, we will end up with a sherwin Williams super block of parking for next 10+ years while the county/city holds up development ideas? Or worse yet a giant hole? Lol surely not but let’s not overthink this. It took how long to find use for Ameritrust lots?

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
I hit up my friend high up in the Dewine administration, wouldn’t commit one way or the other but said they would be seriously looking at the Amtrak proposals. Of course this was at the same time they were slashing transit funds from the budget. Didn’t give me a positive vibe.

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I know I’m just thinking that if they build something like what they built in Chicago a few years ago, might as well use it? That with accessible grass parkland around it would be nice for time being. Also can the rock n roll city have too many venues? Idk

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I love the dark grey but yea real balconies would be great, do you think they didn’t do it because of how busy the road below is and sitting right on top of it or Simply a cost containing issue?

Fake plants or not, I love how they finished off this building with those window boxes. Building looks so good.

Pretty sure NFL is going to construct something substantial for the draft. Then yes it will be a lot after that. I still contend that whatever is built should be used as an outdoor concert venue till a real plan comes together.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
If they are reusing an old design and adding a few stories, Pickard has a lovely 32 story glass option in Milwaukee... the site deserves more.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
If they go boring with the glass box towers, can we please get creative with color on the parking decks maybe utilizing SW popular paint colors? This is from OKC as well...

Suburban Cleveland: Development and News
Taller_is_better replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Northeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionThe business park rebrand of the city view development is underway, I believe called Highland Park. Building facades have been redone or are being redone to create new spaces, parking lot resurfaced. Was getting dark hard to tell how much is being done but clearly looking better.
