  1. I've stayed at one of the Moxy's in Manhattan and found it really nice. Certainly a cut above design-wise compared to mainline hotels. Probably not everyone's cup of tea but it's awesome to have more options in Cincy - especially another more boutique-y hotel in the CBD.
  2. ...and Grant Park with a Ziegler vibe. It's been a long slog but we'll get there in this corner of the neighborhood!
  3. I'm curious what FB Group(s) you are referring to @Troeros2
  4. Yeah we're still moving, just a lot slower since there's no rush to open in 2020. The roof on that structure will be an all-glass a-frame and the front will be all windows as well. It's going to be a super cool space!
  5. Only took them 20 years of "Going Out of Business."
  6. 10 x 23k sqft. floor plates is well into nice hotel cost/benefit range with room to spare. They didn't mention it in the article specifically but it would be great to see there.
  7. The grade beams for Somerset got poured today. You should start seeing walls go up very soon. We can't wait for you all to come check it out once we open!
  8. "I believe one of the partners of this group is on UrbanOhioForum....I believe it's Tony Alexander?" Yup! "I didn't realize how many projects North Crown properties has in the pipeline for North of Liberty..." There are a few others as well that didn't make sense from a tax credit standpoint. We're really hoping to help transform the area around Grant Park over the coming years. "I also believe they are bringing a Beer Garden to the old proposed Hen of the Woods location on Main Street...but that could be a different developer. " One Northcrown partner is involved in that as well but it's a separate thing - and it's not really a "beer garden" but I'll leave it to that group to announce their plans when ready!
  9. Correct. Ghost Baby entrance will be on Republic. Staircase and elevator back there. Panino moving has nothing to do with Ghost Baby. That spot is probably just too big for the gross % they pay 3CDC for rent and 3CDC wants them in a smaller footprint.
  10. Vine St. starting to poke through to Walnut.
  11. As of now, yes for both parks (though I'm not in the day-to-day loop). I've heard some other ideas for Findlay specifically but they are all in the "park/community" wheelhouse as well. The current planning combines Findlay and Grant park redevelopment. It's one initiative.
  12. Not true at all. Quite a few people working in the resource marshaling & planning stages on this one. I'm sure there will be more to come soon and all the folks in this forum will be great people to have your ideas and efforts involved! I renovated and live in a house a block from Grant Park and am part of a partnership that owns a bunch of properties around it so I'm very invested and active in the direction we're going up this way. We've been working directly with the City and CPD at the highest levels during the recent crime spike but as other have mentioned, there are no easy or quick answers. We all know most of these issues get much better for everyone when abandoned properties get developed, new businesses open, and there is more activity around. All that is in process by us and others but just takes time. The area around Grant Park will look much different in 12-24 months, just as lots of areas just like it did all over OTR this past decade.
