Last time I was up there, the cashier brought her kids to work. Something tells me she had her hands too full to notice.

  10. The Raider's D was the third best in the nation. I don't think he will have 3 in the Indy game.
  11. We did fine without him.

That is excellent news. I am new to the dSLR world and have yet to purchase a lens apart from the kit lens that came with the rebel xti. I have been looking at two lenses on Amazon, but I don't want to plop down that much money on something without seeing it in person. Now if I only had the free time to use my camera. :-( Thanks for the heads up, montecarloss
  13. Have they secretly started on The Banks? /yeah, I'm joking. //but hey, I can hope.
  14. I heard that the DAAP building was supposed to be covered in some stone, instead of painted all sorts of ugly pastel colors, but that UC decided to paint it because it was cheaper. Not sure if this is true, but I think it would have looked a lot better without the pastel.

Man, that guy can take a beating. I'm surprised he wasn't knocked out when he landed on his head.

According to www.cincinnati-transit.net its The Literary Club. Second pic: http://www.cincinnati-transit.net/citytour7.html And we have had Eight presidents: Garfield, James Abram Grant, Ulysses Simpson Harding, Warren G. Harrison, Benjamin Harrison, William Henry Hayes, Rutherford B. McKinley, William Taft, William Howard This used to be the most, but with W I think Texas also has 8. We still hold the title for most astronauts at 24. :-) Great tour. I can't wait to be back in the Nati.
  17. The signal that these devices use to transmit data is so small that there should be no reason that older wiring couldn't handle it. You cannot use power strips (except for the special ones you can get from them) or surge protectors. So the general opinion is that current is pretty damn good? (Still waiting for it to get out to my house.) X: A real T1 is very expensive and can push pretty good speeds. But you can get something called a fractional T1 which can be as slow as 128Kbps, which is only slightly faster than dialup.
  18. Two weeks? I saw it on November 20th. :-) (three weeks) He had to shut it down, it was becomming too much of an attraction. :-(

Some good video editors took the video of this guy and pasted the burger king guy over him. I will see if I can find it again.
  21. It's just my opinion, but I don't think people think of NOTL as a shopping area at all. It's an entertainment complex. NOTL is in a catch 22 currently, as there isn't enough retail room there for it to reach mall status, and the number of people coming to actually shop there isn't high enough to warrent an expansion. Oddly enough, I think if there was more room for retail in the levee (if they ever build phase II) then the empty spots would fill. Additionally, the exit off of south 471 to the levee is horrendous. I would be more willing to go there if I knew I wasn't going to be sitting in traffic for 20 minutes once I get into Kentucky.
