Quick question: Is this eastern section with more glass is NRI owned? Or, does the entire property fall under Connect who i believe redeveloped the old portion?

One of the two little residential homes next to Rehab at the corner of McDowell and Town St. appears to be under construction in the photos above. Do we have any idea who is behind the project?

Columbus: Downtown: The Reach on Goodale / White Castle HQ
If we do see a restaurant/bar here, it will be important to better connect this entire development to the arena district. Currently, the best way is to either trek down Goodale/Vine or hop on the bike path and walk to the new connector bridge by LDC Field.

NightNectar replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionWe may see a complex built, demolished and built again in a shorter time frame than the construction of the LC complex at Rich and High streets. Lol.

The final Parks Edge condo tower is officially sold out. The demand is there - we need more condo units in the core to meet the demand.

Wow thats great! When heading to some games this summer I mentioned how cool that building would be if it served as a rental facility for kayak/canoe livery and other water activities with the launch just below it. Its multi story so my idea was rentals by the water and a bar/check in area at the top. Glad to hear the bar part is coming to fruition.

NightNectar replied to JohnOSU99's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionI hope that corner marquee sign is less hideous than the Aubrey. Those look so out of place when they are oversized.

It should get a proper wash down as work continues. That should help.

I sure hope they light it up well to add to the visual appeal. It is very prominent from all directions.

Much better than the first iteration for the facade changes. This is a wonderful building - glad to see the owner recognizes that and decided to sink some serious cash into a renovation.

NightNectar replied to StuFoote's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionNow, add a pedestrian bridge between Veterans Memorial and North Bank Park and this becomes another feasible option for game parking with slightly less congested ingress/egress.

Agreed - this is new as it was not there during the Campeones cup match (last time I was at the stadium). Not sure if its permanent or temporary for the WCQ match. I like it! Hope it is there to stay and I also hope it is illuminated.

NightNectar replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionDriving on ORR between 3rd and 5th avenues - noticed that the far right southbound lane is closed with some major equipment on site. Not sure if this is purely infrastructure related or the beginnings of the dedicated BRT project. Does anyone have information on this?

NightNectar replied to Columbo's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionJust realized they removed all of the balconies from the east end units. I am curious if these units will be converted in some way or if the occupants just lose their balcony.
