Does anyone know why Pittsburgh's Busways are never included on BRT lists like this? The ridership is pretty big (around 17k daily riders) on the East Busway there.

people who dont live in urban areas love declaring that urban areas are going to die (see: Chicago, Portland, SF, NYC, etc). A tale as old as time!

I think they're all Sycamore trees. They grow really well in urban environments (lots of old philadelphia streets are lined with them). Very resistant to pollution & they grow fast.

Awful. Linwood needs a serious traffic calming project. There is 1 (!) striped crossing from Linwood/Observatory until you get to Mt. Lookout Square. Roughly half a mile in either direction from the striped Paxton/Linwood intersection to another crosswalk. Thats unacceptable.

Does this guy have a side hustle as an observation tower contractor? On his website he also has a video for one on the other side of the river.

KC hotel also has an abysmal street presence, which I hope this could improve upon. I know that's not a priority with hotels but the KC one is genuinely unfriendly to walk by.

arent there also issues with the bridge through ault park that just came up? I remembered hearing something about having to build a new bridge that wasnt in the budget

the chain link fence instead of gardens really adds to the aesthetic also, how hard would it have been to put green paint down at the crossings??
