  1. Looks pretty awesome. Seems like they've packed a lot into a (relatively) small space. Excited to see how this performs!
  2. did they give reasonings? I'm surprised by that result.
  3. Id assume more apts on the grassy lot to the right of the current ones, is that wrong?
  4. these are the people running our city
  5. I saw one complaint about storm sewers being at max capacity already...they really have nothing left to form a real argument with.
  6. If the pick the lot between eggleston and court, I really hope they dont tear down the flatiron(ish) building thats at the corner. Either way, if true this is pretty cool!
  7. woah. I looked it up and youre right, they are all literally the exact same building. Don't look nearly as nice as the renderings, either.
  8. anyone have a picture of the new look?
  9. Which project is that? I havent heard anything about this
  10. when is this supposed to be done?
  11. Riverftont Transit Center, now theres a can of worms
  12. What would that involve? 71 cuts it off pretty thoroughly, I dont really see what could be done
  13. Yeah its just that when 3CDC acquired it there was a ton of hype around redevelopment, I'm pretty sure Cranley said there would be "exciting news" in the fall. A bit of a letdown if you ask me
  14. Thats really dissapointing. That better not be the news weve been waiting months to hear.
  15. what even is that? Why is it slightly elevated?
  16. woah thats not what I expected at all. Seems pretty interesting, looks like the original building is going to be a clubhouse type building, no?
  17. Neat! Glad theyre saving the house, I'm interesting to see what itll look like
  18. Interesting, where did you hear this?
  19. It would really open up that area of downtown, its a shame to see it all wasting away as it currently is
  20. Looks the be in the same spot too, based on the view of PBS
  21. Why is there even a bridge still there for Gilbert? I know it was for railways, but is there any possibility of tearing it down/replacing it with a road? It would help that area a lot
  22. Eh I mean fair point on the exterior paint, but personally I think it all looks really nice. As for the interiors, most of these buildings were practically falling apart inside, there is only so much that can be preserved
  23. Yeah but thats my point...we arent a major city, like be realistic. Those cities are WAY bigger than cincinnati. Show me an example of that happening in Cbus, Milwaukee, KCMO, etc and I'll be convinced it will happen here. Not trying to be rude I just genuinley dont belive it will happen here
