Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
The concerts aren’t so much an assumption as they are an inevitability. No guarantees there’s a Final 4 or Super Bowl but a new dome here would put us in the running. My point remains though that Brook Park will have to massively expand their city services to accommodate the events held at a dome in their city limits.

You almost feel like there may need to be some type of land share agreement. I don’t know how much Brook Park can afford to expand their emergency services for the types of events (i.e. Browns games, Final 4s, Super Bowl, mega concerts) that this venue will undoubtedly draw.

What is the windowless structure close to the river? I should probably know this but don’t or can’t recall.

Agree with @dwolfi01. There’s nothing I’m more eager to read than you or Ken being the most recent post on a hot topic.

This is the first time since completion I think this building looks like the rendering, and I’ve seen it in person a bunch.

The Official *I Love Cleveland* Thread
Saw it in 2017 in Nashville under similar skies and this was better.. couldn’t ask for a much better April day in Cleveland. I think about all the tourists who came for this event and because the weather cooperated will have had a fulfilled trip here and pass that along to the people they know. Just an amazing day 😎

There’s an angle they prefer, it didn’t include the SHW crane but did capture the Stokes Federal Courthouse. I think I have it narrowed down to a 20 year window.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field

Ken you truly are the 800lbs gorilla in NEO’s real estate reporting. Thank you for all your hard work in keeping us informed.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I only see a potential move to Brook Park as a negative. Not calling it doom and gloom but I really can’t find an upside for Cleveland proper. •Approximately 1 million fewer visitors to downtown YOY. Downtown hotels, entertainment, restaurants and bars will almost certainly be impacted negatively. •Jock tax not being collected by the city for hundreds of well paid athletes and league + team staffers. •No guarantee the lakefront site flourishes without the Browns there. Unknown if the current plan can even move forward without them.- Cleveland: Random Development and News
The Crain’s article only makes mention of a $185.9 million restoration. Playhouse Square, Valor Acres awarded state transformational projects tax credits https://www.crainscleveland.com/real-estate/two-neo-projects-snag-nearly-12-million-tmud-tax-credits The redevelopment includes transforming the nine-floor Bulkley Building at 1501 Euclid Avenue into 84 apartments, with a portion available for short-term rental by cast and crew members from shows appearing at Playhouse Square. Renovations on the Hanna Building at 1422 Euclid Avenue include retrofitting the 24,000-square-foot fourth floor into a flexible co-working space called “Backstage at PSQ."- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings

^eh maybe 49 or 51 feet to avoid being too ominous. I’m still of the belief that if over the next 5-10 years SHW continues it’s exponential growth “the shack” is an easily replaceable structure.- Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field

That’s a bummer.. however I’m encouraged to hear the Bibb administration is being proactive in attracting jobs. Bodes well for Cleveland and the metro area as a whole.- Cleveland: University Circle: Cleveland Clinic Developments
The 5th crane on the far right is the self-erecting crane at Library Lofts. I believe the Cole expansion has only made use of telescopic cranes and maybe a crawler. I actually had a dream last night about a 6th crane going up on Opportunity Corridor. Hopefully in time but man I am a nerd.- Hellooo ... Cleveland? yes, Cleveland
