  1. SW would probably do well to give him a second chance and bring him to Cleveland to work in Marketing. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8967887/TikToker-shares-popular-paint-mixing-videos-gets-FIRED-job-Sherwin-Williams.html
  2. My hope for the TMUD, if passed, this project gets closer to it’s ambitious roots as opposed to the current plan.
  3. Given the exciting news regarding the Bridgeworks Development in Ohio City, does anyone know if there are plans for the blighted property at the SE corner of Detroit and W 25th? I know the property lists to Riverbed West LLC who is the contractor for the Irishtown Bend Park project. I’m hoping that property is completely renovated or demolished to serve as a entrance for the park.
  4. Given Pickard Chilton’s body of work it would really surprise me to hear a lot of input from the design commission.
  5. “City Club Apartments in Cleveland had a stated start date of November, but Holtzman acknowledges it now is likely to launch in January due to delays posed by the pandemic.”
  6. Arnold 💪 in The Land today!
  7. He’d be likely to get my vote, especially considering Kerry McCormack is probably not planning a run for mayor anytime soon.
  8. In an alternate universe John Boyd is doing a victory lap on SHW relocation to Atlanta. I’m grateful not only to keep this bluechip, legacy company In Cleveland proper, but to witness the demise of the Jacobs and Weston lots, with a brand new tower whether that be 450 feet or 1,000+.
  9. Lol don’t know about footprint records, but the temporary height record for mass timber’s Intro will hold pales in comparison to how important it is at street level (among other things).
  10. Midtown thread is locked or else I’d post this there. This feels like it could be a win for both CMSD and the city as a whole.

Migraine capital of the US!
  12. Cleveland school levy, downtown vitality are hot topics at Crain's Real Estate Forum https://www.crainscleveland.com/real-estate/cleveland-school-levy-downtown-vitality-are-hot-topics-crains-real-estate-forum I love everything about this quote from Playhouse Square CEO Gina Vernaci in the article.. "If history is our teacher on this, 100 years ago we had a pandemic," she said. "And we had a world war. And we had a financial crisis. And these theaters at Playhouse Square were built at that time, and when they opened, people were lined up around the block to get in. "So we know that people want to come back downtown. We're human beings. We want to gather. How can we not waste this time wishing for it to be different, as opposed to using this time to make this a friendly environment for development?"
  13. ^Whoa ?.. now that is the type of density I like to see. Good to see Wolstein is still working to make the future phases a reality.
  14. Is the anonymous downtown development further along than The Viaduct?
  15. This is fantastic! Definitely ranks up there for projects I’ve most looked forward to hearing about. Thank you for sharing!
  16. A 150 foot mural of Cleveland’s favorite fictional son, The Man of Steel, shouldn’t be too difficult to pull off.
