I heard rumblings of this but it was almost 5 years ago. Those buildings are in bad shape so I could see them being replaced over the next decade or two. Haven’t heard of anything imminent though.

Anyone with insight on where in the Jack the sportsbook might take shape? I really hope they focus on the experience. Here’s hoping for something like Circa in Vegas 🤩

Agree. In fact this 446 foot tall skyscraper is so underrated they left it off the “Tallest Buildings in Ohio” Wikipedia page.

They cited staffing as the reason and that feels right. Post pandemic their service was beyond bad. Not rude or anything, but I had better servers as a 16 year old taking my dates to Applebees. Not exaggerating.

True but I believe another criteria of the TMUD was to demonstrate it’s necessity to a project. I would think a developer with as deep of pockets as Bedrock for example would have a hard time explaining the need for the financial boost.

I’m encouraged that none of the projects we’ve heard from @KJPand other forumers that are percolating applied. It indicates to me they can finance their plans without the help of a TMUD.

The Beacon has been a nice addition as viewed from Progressive Field, and to a lesser degree The Lumen. But I get your point.. hopeful the next decade brings a handful more.
