  1. I could do without the sky bridges and was hoping for a bit more of a sloped roof for the pavilion, but the skyscraper will be all world! @KJP and @Geowizical thank you for your outstanding work leading up to this! Your insight and renders are spot on.
  2. @KJP Are these the images you left out of your article a few days ago?
  3. Does the article mention the locations under consideration by the steering committee? Also, does the article make any mention about a new courts tower?
  4. I’m wondering if City Club is waiting on the price of materials to come back to Earth a bit before breaking ground.
  5. Might as well stick “angelfire” in their hyperlink and one of these on the site.
  6. One of my favorite projects to keep an eye on. Anyone know how this property is not Cleveland proper when NASA Glenn is? Did Cleveland and Fairview Park do a land swap at some point? https://fox8.com/video/former-nasa-building-converted-to-luxury-apartments-in-cleveland/6697864/
  7. Love this design, finished product should look great! It’s exciting to think a year from now there’s likely to be at least a half dozen cranes in Cleveland, and that isn’t accounting for multiple cranes at the SHW site.
  8. Agree 100%. I’m not sure any past vision for the lakefront has had an interested party from the private sector quite like the Haslams. I hope this is seen through.
  9. Going to want to catch Real Money this evening.
  10. This post aged well and didn’t even mention grabbing the fastest incoming player.
  11. I saw that also and thought the latter 😒
  12. Probably ineptitude from someone who works for the city. Due diligence is likely Cleveland’s responsibility even if final approval from the DOJ is needed.
  13. If I were to guess, I would think the DOJ consent decree was a factor. For example, the DOJ mandated the city update much of their software and applications used by law enforcement. It wouldn’t surprise me if the city needed DOJ approval for their new HQ. Also, in a city the size of Cleveland, I would imagine there is a good deal of cooperation amongst local, state and federal agencies and sensitive information is shared among their investigations (Terrorist watch lists, traffickers in fentanyl, etc.).
  14. https://www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-arts-district/ Some stiff competition here but University Circle currently sitting in 3rd.
  15. I’m optimistic there will be future phases given the amount of investment going towards the Cleveland Innovation District.
