  1. This is the first I've heard of this project. It's also on the Metroparks website, so it's definitely in motion. I'm a Kamm's Corners resident and this will be an absolute quality of life game changer! https://thelandcle.org/stories/old-lorain-road-connector-trail-links-clevelanders-to-the-rocky-river-reservation/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3IZ64sTi5Jblb_FDSkm7fQ6Az3m--NJd1svu_yrsbri0LH3A9NRaqCPGk_aem_mOPPWVeNO1USIfYJehsz6g

  3. That’s simply excellent! Can we please make it a permanent feature? Or maybe rotate various CLE and Land projections throughout the year?
  4. Gosh she’s gonna be pretty. We need about a dozen more of these beauties downtown!
  5. Count me in with the minority that kind of digs her work. Looking forward to seeing what she does with that enormous canvas!
  6. I also don’t really get the initial grumbling reactions here. I didn’t think we were ever going to get a dome. The financial realities and political hurdles are just too arduous for this city’s present time and place. If everything detailed in the article comes to fruition, we will finally have the ever elusive physical connection to the lakefront, the blvd shoreway, a drastic reduction in surface lots, and a ton of new development including (potentially) a couple new high rises. AND a completely renovated stadium that will be completely unrecognizable at roughly half the price tag. To imagine that all of this could actually happen by the end of the decade is nothing short of very exciting from where I’m sitting.
  7. WKYC has picked up @KJP’s story. https://www.wkyc.com/article/sports/nfl/browns/plans-to-rebuild-cleveland-browns-stadium-announced-next-week/95-ccaafc21-0421-4044-a58f-44a19a5996f8 Well done, sir!

  10. Love the residential development but count me OUT on renovating Harbor Inn into a hotel. 🙄
  11. I absolutely love the “greenish hue”! And right adjacent to Irishtown Bend as well. Let’s go! ☘️😆
  12. Posh indeed! 😆
  13. I’ve been employed at NASA GRC since August 2020 and still have never set foot on campus! Looking forward to (hopefully) seeing the new buildings sometime this decade. 😆
  14. Aaaaand NEOtrans is down. @KJPcongrats on yet another bombshell scoop! 😆
  15. East sider here. I just drove past the Waverly & Oak site yesterday and was astonished at how quickly work is progressing. I didn’t even realize it had commenced yet! I really got a sense of the significance size of the footprint. It will have quite a street presence for sure.
  16. Gatekeepers be gatekeepin’. 🥴

  19. I’m old enough to remember when this was an active performance arts center with a parking lot full of ticket holders. That was long ago. I don’t think I mind a huge blank canvas at this point.

  21. @Xis exactly right. That slope is a gnarly morass of aggressively invasive superweeds. It really needs to be cleared and replanted with new, high quality cultivars that can eventually form a new canopy for years to come. Thank goodness the Metroparks is a collaborating partner. I have infinite faith in their arboricultural knowledge and skills (as opposed to the City).
  22. Thanks. That’s definitely major consolation.
  23. I will certainly miss that outstanding little restaurant. Lots of memories there over the years.
