  1. Six more years? How soon is it this project gets filed in the "Abandoned Projects" thread on UO.
  2. I'm sorry but there has to be an immediate investigation into this. Intel has received billions of dollars from Ohio and the Chips Act. Where is that money?
  3. What a mess this has become. What happened to making chips in the US for national security reasons? Now we might turn this facility over as well as others to Taiwan?
  4. I emailed someone at the "do you have any questions" link a couple of weeks ago from the CMHNext website about the possibility of a construction cam. I wrote I thought there would be tremendous interest in the terminal construction and it would be appreciated if you could install a camera. I haven't heard anything back so I wouldn't bet on there being a camera which is too bad.
  5. What is the price on these houses? Edit: Never mind. I read the website.
  6. Being reported Southwest will be flying to San Diego 5X week starting Oct 1. Our west coast offerings are starting to pick back up. https://www.southwest.com/air/booking/select-depart.html?int=HOMEQBOMAIR&adultPassengersCount=1&departureDate=2025-10-04&destinationAirportCode=SAN&fareType=USD&originationAirportCode=CMH&passengerType=ADULT&promoCode=&returnDate=2025-10-06&tripType=roundtrip&from=CMH&to=SAN&adultsCount=1&departureTimeOfDay=ALL_DAY&reset=true&returnTimeOfDay=ALL_DAY
  7. Let me make one final comment. The current location of Nationwide is ideal for so many reasons, but at some point in the future it will have to be replaced. Since Gordon Gee is no longer OSU president, maybe when that day comes, they can strike a deal with the new regime at Ohio State to share the VCA while Nationwide is demoed and rebuilt on the same location. Let's wait and see what $400M gets us. Maybe the improvements will keep Nationwide in the forefront for decades to come, I hope so. But I was referring to the day when it's over for the arena and a new one is needed.
  8. I said "possible" new location. it would take at least 4 years to raze and rebuild an arena on the same spot.
  9. In the latest video posted by Lukateake on YouTube they've installed a couple of the super load silos so slowly albeit slowly they're starting to get somewhere with the project.
  10. Nationwide is now 25 years old. More than a few cities have built new arenas with less rings around the tree than that. Also new arenas are around a billion dollars. Maybe the $400M they're talking about is a deal but soon they'll have to start thinking about a new arena and possible new location.
  11. It's laughable that Columbus still tries to compare itself to Nashville, Austin, and Charlotte. I live most of the year in Charlotte. They compare themselves to Atlanta, not Columbus. Austin compares itself to Dallas, not Columbus. Who knows who Nashville compares itself to, but I doubt it's Columbus. In reality Columbus should compare itself to Oklahoma City and Indianapolis.
  12. I'll cut the guy some slack and wait to see what he comes up with. But luxury is an easy word to throw around like every new apartment complex is now "luxury."
  13. John7165 replied to Pablo's post in a topic in Ohio Politics
    Congratulations to Jon.
  14. This is the Dobbs House airline catering site. I used to work at the old Dobbs House back in the late 70's. It was located around where the recently demolished McDonalds used to be. That was a fun job for a young man. Getting to meet all of the stewardess' as they were called back then.
  15. I really appreciate the time you take out of your day to post the drone footage, but I what I can't understand is with all of those cranes around why they're not further along with placing those concrete squares in. place. What else could they be doing?
