BrewDog closes in Cincinnati but says Cleveland remains a growth markethttps://www.crainscleveland.com/restaurants/brewdog-shutters-cincinnati-location-remains-bullish-ohio-cleveland I love going to BrewDog - glad they're sticking around and saying their outpost here is their largest opportunity for growth. It's an prime location that's only getting better with the hundreds of new apartments on the way

Brecksville: Valor Acres Development
From Saturday (6/14), you can now drive into the main public plaza area in Valor Acres, so I thought I’d grab a few photos of the buildings going up and the landscaping being put in. Don’t recommend going through if there are active workers just to be respectful - it happened to be an off day. It’s quite substantial in scale when you’re actually on the site! Looking NW towards Sherwin-Williams Looking S towards Miller Rd Looking E towards the DiGeronimo/Flour restaurant/office building Looking NE towards the plaza/main kiosk Looking W towards the two mixed-use buildings (left), parking garage (right)

Yeah if it happened last night it looks like they've already unstuck it based on the live webcam. Hopefully there wasn't too much damage to the boardwalk!

Suburban Cleveland: Development and News
$100 milllion "major economic project" moves forward in Seven HillsclevelandSeven Hills Rockside Road project takes another step forwardWhen talking about the development of roughly 50 acres along the southside of Rockside Road, Seven Hills Mayor Anthony D. Biasiotta has always been cautiously optimistic.A more than 60,000-square-foot Cleveland rehabilitation hospital with four out lots (retail, commercial, office) located on six acres directly south of Rockside Road, as well as a residential component with single-family homes and townhouses on the southern portion of the property are close to coming to fruition. "There’s nothing left to happen from a governmental or city standpoint, other than issuing of permits in accordance with our current laws.”

Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway Megaproject
We're gettin' off-topic y'all To bring it back - I'm hoping there's a decent residential portion to whatever this gateway project ends up becoming - maybe that's what the second phase on the north half of the parcel will be? All of the current and proposed COSM locations (which are both in the suburbs and in city centers), seem to be adjacent to a new substantial residential build. A mid or high-rise residential building fronting Prospect would look really nice up against E 4th

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Woah woah woah this came out of nowhere: Broker envisions mid-rise residential tower in University Circlehttps://www.crainscleveland.com/real-estate/apartment-tower-pitched-clevelands-university-circle (Note: AI-conceptual rendering from the article, has no basis in actual location) TL;DR: Rico Pietro, commercial real estate broker and principal with Cushman & Wakefield | CRESCO Real Estate, wants to develop an eight-story building in University Circle with up to 300 apartments, a potentially $100 mil project. Pietro already owns the site, which currently is the home of Midwest Medical Transport at 10617 Cedar Ave (across the street from Skyline at Stokes) Pietro said that while he’s open to a sale, he wants to develop it instead He's serious about developing it and already has started working with Geis “We’ve spent a lot of time and a lot of money figuring out what you could build with 80% of developers for this site,” Pietro said. “A mid-rise building is the just-right approach. It’s a project that’s affordable to build, is easy to underwrite, and it’s a project that will have the absorption a developer needs.” Pietro is starting by finding potential development partners, investors and continuing to plan the project. He also wants to give his tenant time to plan, but to be ready when their current lease ends in five years.

Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway Megaproject
A COSM would be great! It certainly fits the area and the size of the first building of the development... I will say though: "a smaller version of Hudson Yards in Detroit" is nothing to scoff at, even if it is the less substantiated of the rumors. That's a nearly 700' building right they've got there in motor city

Cleveland: Ohio City: Bridgeworks Development
I guess it's a go then? I can't tell though if the article is a reprint of previous/already known Port of Cleveland financing info or if they actually received approval from the city. The article is very vague: clevelandBridgeworks project in Ohio City to begin construction wi...The $82.5 million mixed-use development will feature 219 apartments and retail space near Detroit-Superior Bridge.

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
I read it as NOACA is simply not taking a side in the stadium debacle. They state in their letter they support improvements to road infrastructure in the region. What they do or do not support either way (in the interest of neutrality I reckon), is the end goal for making those improvements. Regardless of how you look at it, it's a sizeable proposed development project, and NOACA is one of the regional entities that is tasked with supporting these kinds of things I believe, alongside the local ODOT district office (12).
