Cleveland: Downtown: Gateway Megaproject
Larger than my renderings?!?! *faints*

Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
REF: Bedrock-HBSE Megaproject Enjoy these finessed renders of the Bedrock-portion of the megaproject! A fix of modern glass stylings mimicking RoMoFiHo combined with nods to intricate brickwork seem appropriate in this location, imo, and on-brand for a modern sports entertainment and residential complex - including some nice LED displays for vibrancy. This was quite the fun one to work on - and thanks again @KJP for the opportunity! *Please note: Logos and references to real-world organizations are used for conceptual purposes only and are not for monetary gain*

If Gilbert, might it replace/add to any existing Bedrock plans near Gateway/Tower City? At least that's what initially came to my mind...

^Oh, and many thanks to @Mov2Ohiofor providing the original photo. I reckon we should do a comparison shot before-and-after, as well as a comparison shot to my rendering!

Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
By Request, from SW Thread: What I can only succinctly describe as "Threading the Needle"! Ended up using some of the textures from the official PC/SW materials, had to change some of the lighting angles/shadows to match and find the right perspective, etc. Photoshop-job is a little shoddy imo here and there but overall, can't wait for this view irl!

Got a particular picture I could use?! 😉 (Will post in Random Vis.)- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
There's one from a couple of years ago but it's a little outdated.... I would gladly throw one together from the sketchup model given all of the new things planned/proposed but I could only do it if given a master list of like EVERY project, which is a pretty big ask IMO unless someone is really dedicated haha- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
New Yorkers would say anything to harp on Cleveland lol. See that recent Twitter post from the city's official account dissing Cleveland which backfired greatly. But I digress... You're totally right @LlamaLawyer- in the grand scheme of things, I believe this development will spur future developments and serve as the new "standard" for building modern glass 4-500+ft towers in downtown CLE and push for even better/world-class design in the future that exceeds/compliments SWHQ.- Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I may have missed this info from earlier up in the thread, but after reading some of the comments from the articles on this issue, is sounds like many important players are opposed to this idea. More important though, the language: is this lot "approved" or "proposed", because Cleveland.com I believe is using language of a "planned parking lot" while others are saying "proposed parking lot". My hope is that if this is "proposed" that the Haslam's + City either a) won't let this happen, or b) will only allow it under certain conditions of their lakefront vision actually getting done in some form, no ifs ands or buts.... If these questions have already been answered, then my bad, but if not, hopefully it will alleviate the back and forth of "this should happen" "this shouldn't happen". I like being fully informed, if you know what I mean haha- Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I think by now, this is the popular opinion! 🙃 Also great work @dave2017!- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
I could try, but apart from Wexner and then Lincoln and Morrill Tower, idk how much there would be to look at... I'll think about it haha- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
Couldn't agree more - I spend about half of the year in Cleveland and half the year in Columbus, so I get to see everything that's happening in both downtowns and all of the development spurring off of streets like Euclid (CLE) and High (CBUS). Very exciting times indeed- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
Indeed!- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
In all seriousness though, here's the UC model in it's current state - Artisan looking hella nice I might add 😎 Idk if official numbers were posted but this one might actually get close to 300?!- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
Give me a sec to reach into my bag and pull out the UC model...- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
Strong chance, just not anytime soon haha. I also wouldn't probably post that in the Cleveland thread whenever that does happen.- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
I think since UC has no buildings over 300 just yet there's no reason to include it in the main skyline, but that could change someday. I'll take a look and see if it's worth it.- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
Don't have a Detroit model personally.... but a quick look on Google Earth and you will see that Detroit has a lot of contrast in comparison to all of the 3Cs - lots of ~400ft-500ft skyscrapers right next to seas of empty parking spaces. We complain here in Cleveland about parking spaces, but I'd wager Detroit has twice as many, if not more.- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
No.... it's definitely in there 😆 Anyways, I do very much agree - each skyline has that one beauty angle that stands out from the rest.- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
Redirecting from SWHQ thread since things seem to be getting slightly off-topic IMO, I thought I'd post this here and hopefully we don't have to talk about the "which skyline is better" topic on that thread any more lol... Below is a N,S,E,W view of the 3Cs (yes, I have a Cbus and Cincy model as well, although there isn't much to update on either of those skylines lol). Each of the three views in each image are sized correctly to each other for accurate comparison. I put in a vertical 1000ft line that is the same size across all views for reference. Also please note the Cbus model is missing a few very low-level buildings (nothing substantial though) because I haven't gotten around to it yet. I've definitely invested the most in my CLE model of course but I still often compare the three nonetheless, although I think each of the three skylines has its own unique merits. (I'm biased towards CLE just so everyone is aware 🙃). Looking North Looking South Looking East Looking West- Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
Are you hinting at a cranes-only render @KJP?! 🤣 - Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
