Cleveland: Scranton Peninsula: Development and News
Sorry if this question seems dumb, but are these renderings related to or in conflict with the Thunderbird project? It seems as though it doesn't impede on the Great Lakes Brewing Co. land directly to the south (right in the image), but I'm curious about the rest...

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I think so, especially since the buildings in the older renderings were all low-rise as well. And since we only got two images of the new master plan and this is kind of important... For the second addition to my series of Unofficial Google Sketchup Renderings (see nuCLEus thread for the first), I took the master plan image and made a best-guess mock-up of what I think the future Lakefront would roughly look like in 3D to give us all a better idea of what's what... And the Money Shot... (I only take credit for creating the models in yellow which are future/proposed buildings)

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Very feasible indeed. Pace said himself that these new plans were much more feasible than what they had previously drew up and that they would be able to move forward more quickly with the new changes (obviously these are still proposals and not final). From what I understood from the live stream (before it cut out and didn't return...) was that, like you said, they aren't holding out for an office tenant and rather just creating the space for future use. Funding wise however, I didn't hear anything about it...

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
Some lots nearby were priced in the $30-$50 dollar range...?

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
Anyone know when an official groundbreaking announcement is coming? While I’m finally feeling optimistic and excited as well, I won’t 100% believe an August groundbreaking until I see it...

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
Who knows... with the way hotel rooms are filling up these days downtown, they might need to find a place to put a Holiday Inn ?

Cleveland: Downtown: nuCLEus
Using Google Sketchup and lots of reference photos, I recreated nuCLEus to scale almost perfectly (no, I do not work for Stark ?). Then, using my and @Clevecane‘s photos from the Beacon thread, geolocation in Google Sketchup and a little Photoshop wizardry, here are the same views, but 3 or so years from now with nuCLEus in the mix. Unfortunately for the Tremont locals, the beautiful view of Beacon won’t be around for long once nuCLEus rises, but I think it’ll be worth it... Also, walking down 4th towards “The Rock” (it’ll catch on, just wait) and on-and-around Huron in 3 years is going to be great (*marvels at all the glass*). Before (credit: Clevecane): After: Before (credit: me): After:

Well, according to KJP...

Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
Plus, based on updated the renderings, I can’t help but think nuCLEus will mesh very nicely with the Beacon, color and height-wise. I’m excited to see what the two will look like together from this view! (Maybe Stark had it planned since they changed the design ?)

Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
In and around Tremont/Downtown today-thought I’d do some on-site reporting with pics of the Beacon ? Filling in the skyline nicely from the South (Tremont)... Paneling appears to be almost finished, everything except for the westward-facing side...

Cleveland: Which Project Will Be Next and Why
Could you elaborate (if possible) on any big projects yet-to-be-announced “in the coming weeks”, such as S-W and City Club? Maybe that’s what Clevecane had in mind? Or maybe I misinterpreted...

Cleveland: Which Project Will Be Next and Why
First-time poster, long time follower: I’ve been working on this map for a little while. It’s a start, but I’m sure Klingaling will produce something much better-I don’t want to steal your job! Just thought I would share it, although it’s probably missing a few developments (and sorry if the quality is poor). Nonetheless, I think it gets the point across...
