  1. No big news but a permit was filed for the renovation of 910 Literary Rd. It's to be prepared for 2 tenants (one per floor). That first floor is the perfect spot for another local restaurant or store. And it'll be great to have this more lively with windows planned to be added to the space.
  2. If there's not first floor retail with a sex toy shop I'm gonna be extremely disappointed.
  3. Definitely the case with those over $250k places. Just basing off of counting Zillow sales over that price (not a perfect method but it's something), February has 43 sales, March had 48, and April only had 21.
  4. Building permit was filed online today for an 8 unit micro apartment building at 2270 W 14th St by MRN. 2 stories and a total 4800 sq ft.
  5. I also love the brochures mention of that "forthcoming mixed use development" They put the point in the wrong spot on the map, but I assume that since it'll be built where the Vibrator Company was, that the project is the 120 unit "The Vibe" as seen here:
  6. Permit filed for a Beyond Juicery+Eatery in Uptown at 11431 Euclid. This is in addition to the permit for a location at 226 Euclid. There's a Bibibop at this location, but I guess they're permanently closing?
  7. Building permit was uploaded for a small cafe at 2125 Superior. Glad to see this whole project is still alive. And a reminder about the overall plans for the building for anyone unfamiliar: http://highrockproperty.com/projects/2125-superior-ave/
  8. Building permit was uploaded Tuesday for Chad Kertesz's 24 unit 3 story apartment building at 4815 Franklin. Not much has changed in the proposed rendering since last time it was posted here except for a few minor details and the addition of balconies. All of the units will be studio or one bedroom.
  9. They're great options, but I'm always surprised by the number of students who don't know Aldi, Dave's, or Gallucci's even exist. For a school that gives out free transit passes to everyone, case doesn't do a good job teaching people about things they can go to.
  10. As a result of the Constantinos closure, I've heard there will now be a shuttle that will take people to the Dave's in Cedar-Fairmount. And right across from ex-Constantinos, a progress update:

  12. Renovations proposed for the 1870 W 25th St storefront.

No details included. Anyone have any insight into this? Undergoing renovation to fix it as had been discussed or is this now going to be converted into something else?
  14. https://ca.permitcleveland.org/public/Cap/CapDetail.aspx?Module=BuildingHousing&TabName=BuildingHousing&capID1=20BHO&capID2=00000&capID3=04704&agencyCode=COC&IsToShowInspection= Construction permit was filed for a 22,050 sq ft building at 341 E 152nd St. The property is owned by the city land bank and the online copy currently has no details or organizations mentioned. Anyone have insight into this?
  15. Building permit was filed online for the new Animal Hospital expansion at 4117 Rocky River. 17,600 sq ft of new construction according to the permit.
  16. There's a permit from October 2019 for roof repair on the Cathedral of Saint John. Someone please correct me if this work was already done, but roofing would be my best guess.
  17. Just posting this here as well. This is right on the border (Chester Ave) where Hough and Midtown intersect, so I wasn't sure where this would better fit.
  18. Permits were submitted yesterday for a new apartment building at the Northwest corner of Chester and E 75th, creatively named "Chester75". As per the description of the permit: "The proposed development will be constructed at Chester Ave and East 75th St on a .84 acre site, which was most recently a place of worship. Chester75 will introduce 56 new market-rate apartments in a configuration of studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 2 story townhome style units. The 4-story, 56,000 SF building will provide amenities in ground floor common areas and a fourth floor community room and roof deck. Additionally, the site development will include 50 off-street parking spaces." City Architecture is listed as the architects. Famicos is the current owner of the property to be built upon.
  19. Super cool post and concept. But now I'm going to be disappointed by any plan for the headquarters that isn't this beautiful one.
  20. New building permit was added online yesterday for the renovation. Does anyone know if the planning commission will be looking at these?
  21. 22700 Lake Rd, Rocky River Right on the coast in the northwest corner of Rocky River.
