  1. As low as $1.56 in the city from what I've seen with projections that the price is still gonna be dropping further. But also aside the point of Ohio City Development sorry.
  2. This should be going before the Northeast Design Review tomorrow. Plans are for 39, three-story townhomes.
  3. Design review case for Knez's new townhouse development around the old Hough Bakery. Hopefully be seeing some renderings soon. http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us/designreview/brd/detailDR.php?ID=3457&CASE=NE 2020-006
  4. These aren't even affordable housing. They're $1500 per month for a 1br 457 sq ft apartment.
  5. Construction permits submitted today for the redevelopment of the corner at Lorain and Randall where Old Fashioned Hot Dogs is closing down. I'm assuming this means demolition should start in April or May. And an image reminder of the plan:
  6. No specifics were given in the online copy of the permit so it's yet to be seen
  7. There's an overlap where midtown is between Chester and Carnegie, West of 79th. You are right though as 7911 is just past 79th St which means it's not in Midtown.
  8. Permit was submitted today for new construction at 7911 Carnegie Ave. Not a lot of info given online, but piecing together info, it seems to be from the people who owned the now closed middle eastern grocery/hookah bar: Almanar Market on the westside. TBD if this is going to be a similar concept. This location is by the new Dunkin Donuts and the new Angie's Soul Cafe.
  9. I finally understand why they were so excited about architect CARLETON MOORE! He earned that exclamation point.
  10. They saw cheaper rent in Solon and moved there. The restaurant was successful, but they also thought that they could do better by moving away from Uptown's high rent demands.
  11. Renderings for the Fulton Road Townhomes: http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us/designreview/drcagenda/2020/03062020/index.php And site plan again for context:
  12. Plans for the CMNH Renovation and Addition: http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us/designreview/drcagenda/2020/03062020/index.php
  13. 3074 W 14th Gas Station Plans! http://planning.city.cleveland.oh.us/designreview/drcagenda/2020/03062020/index.php Parking and pumps behind the building and 4 streetfront retail spots?? I think this is the first time I can say that I'm actually excited for a new gas station.
  14. Demolition permit filed today for the building where Harbor 44 will go.
  15. "The median income in the Ohio City neighborhood has skyrocketed from $23,000 to $93,000 over the last decade." That is way more than I ever would have imagined
  16. https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/320-Superior-Ave-E-Cleveland-OH/18582189/ Anyone wanna buy the 757 space 200 Public Square parking garage for a measly $55 million? Think anything notable could come of this being transferred?
  17. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/2025-Follett-Ct-Cleveland-OH-44113/2080866524_zpid/ 5 new construction Follet Ct Townhomes
  18. And it's doing great already. When I went 2 weeks ago, the place was packed, there weren't even any seats available
  19. A new road plan like this would do wonders for the area. Maybe something to do coinciding with the new CWRU dorms and planned bridge to thinkbox.
  20. Location seems nice but unfortunately it's in the middle of two major roads and an active rail line. It needs a lot of work to be a more walkable area.
  21. Unfortunately one of the main driver is construction costs. These are all being sold at ~$160-180 per sq ft which is a pretty good rate for new housing in Cleveland.
  22. The Ashbury Pointe townhomes at E 120th and Ashbury are listed online now. Prices ranging from $300-330k https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1489-E-120th-St-1-Cleveland-OH-44106/2080994367_zpid/
  23. Checked online availability and counted 28 available units. That comes out to ~85% occupancy. Not bad at all. And about 60% of the available units are one bedroom, the same percentage of one bedroom units in the entire building. A good sign that 60% one bedroom and 40% two bedroom is a good rate for new downtown rental development.
  24. None of this round of credits has been awarded. Just projects seeking funding, but the Karam project is pretty likely to happen considering its collaboration with the library.
