Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
As someone who grew up in Allison Park, I feel that I should add that this facility is extremely isolated. Very few people there even realize it exists. And being isolated and away from the city, it provides little real benefit for Pittsburgh. Cleveland can and should do a lot better.

Cleveland: Glenville: Development and News
Just noticed that a grand opening date was set for Glenville Circle North. It's been quite a while longer than I was told this would take, but at long last, the ribbon cutting will be on the 31st! https://m.facebook.com/events/2952386511472803

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
"according to an agenda released this week (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the agenda, with project renderings)." Renderings exist, but cleveland.com is still teasing us. Hopefully they'll update it soon.

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
The inclusion of first and second story retail is promising. Considering the plans late last year called for a 22 story building, this extra floor could indicate a large planned retailer coming into the project for a two-story space.

Cleveland: St. Clair-Superior (non-Asiatown): Development and News
Building permits were filed today for the next construction phase of Saint Martin de Porres High School. This will be an addition of 30,951 sq ft to the school at 6202 St Clair Ave. Here's what is currently completed: And here's an old rendering of the full plan:

2020 in Cleveland is looking amazing already!

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
????? New construction permits have been filed for a 23 story building! Don't get too excited. It's still gotta go through the planning commission and a few more steps, but progress is being made and we'll hopefully get some renderings soon enough. Only other notable info mentioned in the permit is that the architect is Vocon.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Not if NRP (hopefully) takes the planning commission's advice and adds restaurant space.
-
Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
I thought that Canal Basin park extended further South to Merwin's Wharf, but looking at the plans again I guess not ? Still, hopefully it will help development momentum for the whole peninsula

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
And think of all of that space SHW is leaving. Office space for numerous new companies or apartments for hundreds of new residents. And prime riverfront land for new development.
-
Cleveland: Flats Developments (Non-Stonebridge or FEB)
That's going to be an awesome addition to the park! Maybe it'll even help to push along the whole Canal Basin plan

Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
Nope. It's a site that "hasn't been mentioned by anyone during this whole process."

Cleveland: Transit Ideas for the Future
How do people feel about China's new "ART"? https://shanghai.ist/2019/12/09/chinas-driverless-trackless-train-that-runs-on-virtual-rails-launches-first-commercial-line/ It seems like it could be the next evolution for BRT with a lot of potential as a more affordable streetcar alternative.

Cleveland: Little Italy: Development and News
Building permit was filed today for 12501 Mayfield. As always with Cleveland permits, details are minimal. It's about opening up a "Borgata Bar." I can't find anymore info on what that is, but I guess Little Italy is getting another bar.

Cleveland: Duck Island: Development and News
My favorite part is that their nextdoor neighbor's residence is older than theirs and is a 2-unit house with another 2 unit carriage house.

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
Cleveland Cyclewerks, a local motorcycle manufacturer plans to locate its new headquarters in midtown. They're not 100% set on a property but it looks like the current plan is for acquiring and redeveloping the abandoned structure at 6512 Carnegie. This is also in conjunction with their upcoming announcement for a new motorcycle. It will be their first electric bike and the first one they will be manufacturing in Cleveland. Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
Gotcha. The people keeping public records for permits didn't seem to realize this. Nor does Google maps. Time to go complain
-
Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Athletic Club Redevelopment
No new permit filings regarding the retail spot that I've seen. Plan still just says auto show room and sales.

Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
I don't think it is. Permits were filed last month for Key at the Riverview Towers, it checks out with both address and parcel number.

Cleveland: Shaker Square: Development and News
Such a great street and partner to Shaker Square a couple blocks away. While it has an awesome variety of things, I noticed one odd part. I counted recently: 10 of the storefronts occupied on Larchmere are salons/barbers which confuses me how that many stay open.

Cleveland: Clark–Fulton / Stockyards: Development and News
About 16k sq ft set aside for retail/office! Also wanna point out this pic: It's the future plans and it shows a third and fourth apartment building eventually. Metro North fronting on the side street also makes more sense now with the plan for another building.
