  1. Sign is up for "The Murray Hill 7." These are seven condos in houses at 2154, 2158, and 2160 Murray Hill, prices ranging from $209-379,000. It's being done by the same developers as the Baricelli Inn Apartments. Speaking of, progress has been looking great on those so far. I'll need to take some pics soon. And does anyone know when construction on the apartments is supposed to be completed? Asking as someone looking to move somewhere new in the summer...
  2. Owner since March 2005 according to property records.
  3. Mayfield Theater is still there. Needs a serious renovation but it's there.
  4. As someone living in Little Italy and looking for a nicer apartment in the neighborhood, I can assure you it's not oversaturated. And demand is only gonna increase as more students return to campus in the near future. It's a weird concept for Cleveland, but I'm wondering how much longer before Little Italy runs out of land to develop.
  5. The way all of the opponents in the meeting and protest phrased things, anyone who supports this development is evil and actively oppressing and destroying the history of the latinx community. While I wish she'd look at things logically and support this development that would really help her ward, it makes sense why she'd be hesitant to publicly support it.
  6. Dream Hotel for Midtown, Hulett Hotel and Bridgeworks for Ohio City. Unless I forgot about something, the mystery is the downtown hotel....
  7. Maybe it's just me but I'm totally fine with them not updating. It allows downtown to have options at a variety of price points. Brand new construction is great to bring in upper and upper middle class. And in 10-25 years, those units will be more affordable to middle and lower middle incomes. The same thing may very well happen to City Club Apartments in the decades to come.
  8. I'm not sure about that. City permit was uploaded Thursday for the renovation of the existing parking garage with an estimated cost of $1.2 million, also using Taylor Consulting and Donkey (edit: Donley) Restoration. https://ca.permitcleveland.org/public/Cap/CapDetail.aspx?Module=BuildingHousing&TabName=BuildingHousing&capID1=21BHO&capID2=00000&capID3=01882&agencyCode=COC&IsToShowInspection= And based on that @Boomerang_Brian, I don't imagine they're going to be using that corner lot.
  9. I apologise. I'll message the admins in the future.
  10. SHW thread is still locked so idk where else to post this. They uploaded their official proposed site plan: https://www.sherwin-williams.com/buildingourfuture/media-center/
  11. Old vs New plans for Karam: See more info here: https://courbanize.com/projects/karamseniorliving/information
  12. Not sure how long ago that was, but Hessler is not at all considered dangerous anymore. It's only reputation is as the party street.
  13. I still can't get over how mad Facebook is getting already. The design and density seems great for the empty site, maybe just refine a little bit more. Parking spaces are in a lot attached to Ford Dr so residents don't even need to drive on Hessler. Not sure if anything would satisfy these people other than an empty lot.
  14. My favorite looking new construction building in Cleveland. I think the grey works well, and the fake plants help liven it up, even in the winter.
  15. You can download a PDF of the plans from coUrbanize. https://courbanize.com/projects/bridgeworks/updates
  16. I prefer it and the height to the previous iteration but that top portion could use a decent bit of work. On another note, I only just noticed that the floor plan now calls for "micro-commercial" space. 6 units along Superior Viaduct. Love it!
  17. @nammoumj Hey is this mapping project still active? There's a lot of stuff that needs updated that I'd be happy to help with if it is. Or if it's not active, I'd be willing to take over the project to keep it updated regularly. Thanks!
  18. I'd argue you can still tell from some design elements that it isn't an historic building. Though contrary to the design standards, faux-historicism is exactly what most of the residents want. I find it pretty silly that it's a rule, but that's just my design preference.
  19. I understand. And I kinda agree that I'd like to see a few buildings on that side too. But there's a reason they're not doing that and tearing down the existing buildings. That side of W 25th isn't stable. Half of the work for the park is being done to stabilize the land so it doesn't crumble into the water. If I'm understanding correctly, high-rises wouldn't be stable there, hence the park only.
  20. Building permit uploaded today for a restaurant in part of one of the new riverfront buildings. The permit calls it "Flats BBQ"
  21. I'll be curious to see how well leasing goes on the micro-units. Unit size starts at about 320 sq ft with prices starting in the $800s. There aren't too many units that size in Cleveland. Nor are there any new construction apartments in Midtown. This whole thing will be an interesting experiment that I'm really hoping is successful.
  22. The entry from Euclid to the parking in the back will be an ivy covered archway Are you in one of the units facing the back? Instead of looking at the parking garage, you now have a view of the Cleveland Zoo.
  23. And one more Hough development: The Madame CJ Walker Business District, at the corner of Hough Ave and E86th/Crawford. According to Councilman Basheer Jones, they have letters of intent from Faith Community United Credit Union, a beauty salon, a pet store, and a funeral home. 2 or 3 retail units will be available for short term leases (6 or fewer months) to act as business incubators.
  24. Also worth mentioning here that Signet's Axis at Ansel is about 90% full according to today's Crain's article about their upcoming Midtown development. Very impressive speed to fill it all up.
