Cleveland Hopkins International Airport
United has, and continues to screw CLE. First with their original de-hub. Concourse C, when built, was United and Northwest only. Second with the de-hub post merger. Again, Concourse C and D were predominantly Continental (United). And continuing by tieing up most of those gates, forcing UAL loyalists (I can't understand why) to fly through ORD, EWR, IAD or IAH; the first two being the most delay-prone airports in the country. Its ridiculous!

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
For all of the reasons mentioned upthread, this is the perfect location for achieving the city and developer's goals; access/regress/location/target audience/free parking/jobs/city revenue.

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
While the apparent target audience are the suburban/exurban residents, it will be close enough to also provide CBD residents with shopping options. It will also provide jobs and increase the city's coffers.

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
It seems like a no-brainer to extend the line a few hundred yards.

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
"The Palm Beach Outlets" replaced the Palm Beach Mall. I've been there many times (Jareds, BJs, Too-Jays). They demolished the indoor, brick & mortar, standard retail mall and replaced it with an outdoor mall. You're correct, it is usually busy, especially on the weekends.

Thanks KJP! I may be 1244 miles away, but still have the pulse on my hometown.

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Better here than the site they were considering, the Jacob's lot on PS.

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
I think they've done their market research. They appear to know what will be attractive to their targeted demographic; a key to success.

Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
This is a truncated version of the HGP press release posted upthread. Nothing new, but this version does not include the much debated target demographics.

Is this another Weston-owned lot?

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Thanks for the clarification of their priorities Ken. On another note, does the "Workhouse" still exist in Warrensville?

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
I thought they wanted to maintain a presence near the existing courts, which are in the CBD. I don't see how that can be accomplished if they want a campus.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Wow is right! That's too bad. Sounds like they need better property management. I'm surprised they don't install wood laminate flooring in hallways/elevators. They're easy to maintain vs carpeting. As for noise, if you live in Party Central, you have to anticipate noise, drunks and everything that accompanies those things.

Bedrock- Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
The lighting on the Prospect side of the building will be an extremely dramatic improvement. It will eliminate that dark stretch of Prospect between Ontario and E. 4th.- Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
As it should be. After all, it does have one of Cleveland's premier addresses at 200 Euclid on Public Square.- Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
Also parking anywhere downtown is not free; this should be.- Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
This is perhaps a good thing. It may be a contributing factor to keeping them in Cleveland.- Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
Some types of "retail" will come as CBD population density increases. The developments on Euclid are providing that increased density. The target audience for the Outlets is not the same audience seeking urban retail, as discussed repeatedly upthread.- East Cleveland: Development and News
Credit has to be given to these guys for investing in the community and for providing a vehicle for those less fortunate to also become part of the community redevelopment. Love it! Kudos to Knez and Miketo!- Cleveland: Outlet Mall Proposal for Lakefront
Given their target audience, I think this project has the potential to do very well in that location. - Brecksville: Sherwin-Williams Research & Development Center
