Cleveland: Slavic Village: Development and News
Totally agree about trying to save old buildings when possible, but living a block from this intersection, I can assure you that these buildings are not worth saving, nor could they be. The city has dropped the ball on holding anyone accountable for upkeep and unfortunately, the intersection looks like a war zone. Windows smashed out, interiors looted, prostitutes, crack addicts, and ceilings caved in. Having watched this neighborhood continue to deteriorate, the residents welcome any improvements. 😊 (and an emoji for hope)

Cleveland Development Map
So appreciate having all this in one place, great job. Noticed the church renovation (San Sofia) into apartments in Tremont is not on the list. If you haven't driven past it, definitely worth checking out, it's a beauty from the outside. https://www.sansofia.com/photogallery.aspx

Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
This is an exciting list. Another exciting project in Ohio City by Franklin Circle is the Rock Climbing Gym in the old Masonic temple. New slanted glass roof has already been added. Check it out if you haven't seen it.

Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
This article sheds a little light on the city's point of view on this project, gave me a bit of an 'ah, I get it' moment. https://www.cleveland.com/open/2019/08/two-developments-this-week-seen-as-state-government-assault-on-ohio-cities.html

Cleveland: Downtown: Justice Center Complex Replacement
Nice to see the county is taking justice reform seriously. While it exciting to watch the skyline evolve, reform is certainly more important than a shiny new building.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Long time reader, first time to reply. Not too long ago @KJP asked that we follow up with local government, which I did, asking them to do what they can to keep SW in Cleveland. The only response I received was from Anthony Brancatelli, who stated: "Thanks for contacting me regarding Sherwin Williams. The City of Cleveland made an incredibly generous offer for them to build on Public Square. If they turn it down, then it is on them for leaving Cleveland."
