Anyone know what is happening at the old Duck Island Club space? I had heard that the folks behind Luxe were renovating but haven't heard any new news in over a year. Someone has clearly been putting money into the building but it is odd that there hasn't been any buzz about a new business in the neighborhood...

The smith ct townhomes are predominantly vinyl siding. It looks even cheaper when you are up close. Too bad the folks paying hundreds of thousands for these units didn't demand higher quality materials.

The hillside would never support buildings of that height. Best case density wise would be 1-2 buildings the size of the neighboring Grove Court condos. Given price of single lots in Duck Island my best guess is that this land eventually gets re-parceled out into single family lots.
