I love the design and I can't wait to see this rise in the Cleveland skyline.

Cleveland: Dike 14
The Dike 14 Nature Preserve was never planned for recreational uses as was stated before. The dredging from the Cuyahoga River and the Cleveland port were deposited on this site. This happened after they found that the dredging were contaminated and could no longer just dump them in open water. They constructed this dike to keep the water clean, do you still think that it is a waist of money now. Once the dike was completed nature took over the site. No many species of mammals and birds call this place home. With Cleveland sprawling more and more every year The Animal need some where to go and they have called Dike 14 their home for now. I think we need some where for nature to exist undisturbed, unfortunately we don't have enough real estate on the lake in proximity to downtown but I think the dike should stay undeveloped as a nature preserve.

Cleveland: HealthLine / Euclid Corridor
The Euclid Corridor project has been a pain in the butt at times, especially being a route 6 rider. But it feels good to see the project coming together and seeing the development that will compliment this project. I am happy about this now and feel that it is worth it. I would not mind seeing more residential projects in midtown along Euclid especially in between the Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland State, but I guess that could come in due time.

Why doesn't downtown Cleveland have....
Back to the subject of what I would like to see downtown. I dont know why we dont have a state of the art gaming facility like Gameworks or ESPN Zone

Cleveland Design Competition
I am going to submit my Plan for this site. Dont get me wrong, all the idea that we can get for this site will be goodsmall in scale or large. I only want to say that I want to do a large scale project. Smaller plans dont mean that they are not large in vision. I just like tall buildings, I have since I was a child and what I want to bring to this site is a large Scale stucture. I know by saying that is would be a global landmark that I am making a statement, but What I have put together may be something special in my mind but not others. but I am up to a challenge so hopefully when it comes to presenting this project others feel the same way I do.

Cleveland Design Competition
Simple and do able is nice but I have some thing grand planned for that site, a global lanmark. Its just an idea, but its what I am going to propose for the site.

Indianapolis: Carmel...New Urbanism and such!
The architecture in this development to me is easy on the eyes, but I am worried that developers are still ignoring sustainable development guidelines. I am not very familiar with this area or development can any one tell me if there was anything sustainable outside of the green space in this community. Like is there any alternate energy sources or is there any alternate modes of transportation for people traveling to work. Like some have previously stated the development looks good, but what about the social and environmental cost. I don’t know if the average person would ask these questions but being a planner I think about things like this when I look at these photos.

San Diego Nightlife (20 pictures)
Awsome photos. I love the architectural lighting in some of them. Looks nice right about now, since we are currently digging out from under a foot of snow.

Cleveland Design Competition
I am glad that professionals can not compete in this competition. Its not that I don’t want to exclude some great ideas from this competition, but as a student I don’t have ht e financial resources and years of experience to compete with them. I do on the other hand have a great idea that I am I going to submit for this site. I think it’s a good idea to let the up and coming artist get there chance to shine. I have tried to compete in the past with the best and although my idea was good my presentation was no where on par with what was put together by some of the bigger companies.

Cleveland Design Competition
I know the competition is site specific. The design that I submitted for both competitions was for the Irish Bend site, thats why I am going to use it for this competition. It is allready for that site in the first place. Sorry of i did not explian myself clearly the first time. I will be using my design for this competition.

Cleveland Design Competition
Its ironic that this design competition comes up now as I have just finished a proposal for that site for the Evolo 07 Skyscraper Competition and the 2007 Next Generation Design Competition. It looks like I will be submitting my design for a third competition now.

New York City: Developments and News
Well, we have a new tower for me to hate now. This tower is terrible. It does not fit into the context of New York City, and I don't like it among other things. Just like the Louisville tower, this tower will take time to grow on me. Maybe the exterior will look better once built.

Northeast Ohio / Cleveland: General Transit Thread
I hope that we can find a way to get this done. The Cleveland area needs alot more transit options and this should only be the begining. After viewing that power point, I dont understand how any one could be against it, but then again I was born and raised in the Cleveland area, so I have come to expect delays like this. Those who are for it just keep fighting for this and we will see it one day.
