ok, so my opiniosn can be a little harsh at times, Im learning people, thats the reason I post here. I respect the fact that you disagree with me. my reality is different than yours, which leads me to believe some of the things that I do. I just get tired of some of the things that i have to see on a constant basis. When you see certian things all the time, it can bog you down. I dont mean to come off as being negative. I LOVE CLEVELADN AND THE TRANSIT SYSTEM. There happy, and i also tell people about the conviniences of using the bus, but come on people, soem times it can get crazy, admit it, we all have stories, but for the most part bus rides are just that, bus rides. and as for my skyscraper, i dont think its GOD's Gift to Cleveland, I posted it on here to get your opinion, and I know its naive of me to think its goingt o be built, but yeah dont crush a young mans dream yet. Soem of you may be older than me, so help mold me to be a more responsible poster, until next time, who knows whats going to be posted by me, stay tuned, I am sure I may offend you agian latter,lol, just kidding.

well it looks like im headed back to the drawing board. I will post some of my other skyskrapers to see if you like them.

oh yeah, and somwe people dont have the ability to look up bus routes before they move some where. some people have to take what they can get in the way of housing, but I guess thats not true either and we all live in a world of make bel;ieve where every thing is alright. If that was true we would not be having this debate and every one would use public transpotation. i love using the bus and the rapid. i have been using it since I was a child and realize the expenses of having a car. there are benefits to riding the bus, but when I said god knows who, i meant the people that make the ride unpleasant, not the people who are just one there to get from point A to b. There are plenty of nice people on the bus and i enjoy thier presence, but If you dont think that it can be a little dangerous then you are simply naive and need to wake up. i have been a ridder of RTa for the most part of my life and know better than to think that bad shit does not happen on the bus. i know that the dar can be juist as dangerous and some crazy people drive to, i wa just saying that cars provide more freedom of movemnt that the Bus. When you have a car you can run errand much faster than using the bus. its not like we live in NYC and every thing runs fast. It is cold outside right now and when you get off work you have to wait for a bus, unless you know some magic spell to make a bus come when you want it. Dont kid any one, some times you have to wait for a bus to come when it comes and not acording to the schudule. i wish every one used the public transportation, that way they would run faster without a problem, but thats not the world we live in and as much as that sucks, it is what it is.

oh yeah and im not judging any one, they make it clear what kind of person they are when they get on the bus.

you know what, I have been on a RTA bus when a grown man sold a gun to 15 year olds, how about when the lady with aids told another lady she would spit on her, or how about the time when a drunk guy got on the bus and pulled a knife out on a group of teenage girls, my point is that some times the bus ride can be dangerous, if you cant understand my point, then to bad. there are alot of good people that ride the bus,people who work, go to school and of the sort, but there is always people who make the ride a little unbearable, and thats the truth, if you want to be naive and think that it is'nt then you are all lying to yourselves and need to get a reality check.

Does every one realize that Cleveland State university is about to expand its student housing stock. there is a master plan to buold new dorms similar to those just completed at Case Western. along with that the tower on the eastern edge of campus has just been redone and will open soon. they will have so much more student housing they have now in the upcoming years. they are also looking to build a new school of education and a diving center and a new university center. they have plans on thier website, so people will be using transit alot more, on top of the transition of old buildong to lofts along Euclid Avenue. The fact of the matter is that the car is King in america period, face it fokes, but we all could us the transit more often, maybe to work and back and use our cars during the weekend. I have been a user of public transit for most of my life and believe me, i dont blame any one who does not want to use it. the car provides so much more convinience to its users. when you get in your car, your off work, when you use the bus, when its 20 degrees out side. You have to wait for a bus, and dont miss it, thats 15-30 minutes in the cold. and then you get on a crowded bus with GOD KNOWS WHO! then ride any where from 15-30 minutes to you destination. one dya when the ride is berable its ok, but when the crazies come out, oh my god help me and have mercy on my soul. If any one uses public transportation they know what im talking about, especially the inner city bus routes. i use the 326 every day and You just dont know what your gonna get some times. but any way. Donwtown is in transition and I believe we will all be pleaseed in the end. until then lets cross our fingers and hope for the best.

well any way it loks like tower number one is a favorite among voters, it will probably have the most votes when voting closes.

Tower 2 would be about as wide as the BP building in downtwown clevland at the base excluding the BP's winter garden.

i willl take it, always love new construction or preserving old structures, but since the old one burned down, bring on the new structure.

There is no refrence to downtown Cleveland, its going up right next to the Agora which is near E. 55 ST.

I cant believe people are saying none of them, guess its back to the drawing board. what kind of skyscraper would you like to see, I have a traditional skyscraper, a progressive one and a high tech one up here, I dont know what else you would want besides no skyscraper at all,lol.

I love tower number 2 and with a nice coat of reflectice glass I think it would stand among some of my favorite glass office tower, like Seatle's Columbia Center and Houston's Wells Fargo Tower. I love its simplicty and progressive stature. thats just my opinion and any one else opinion on the tower is well pespected. Love it or hate it, it doesnt matter to me, I love it, well I created it, so thats a given that I would love it, any way keep the comments and feedback coming. thanks every one. :-D

I thought that Key tower was 948 feet to the top of the pyramid not the flag pole. any way, i am glad we got this baby, it is one of my favorite skyscrpaers and we are lucky to have it here in cleveland, now lets work on giving this thing some moe company on the skyline. :-D

New York always gets the cool developments. I wish, as alot of us do, that we could get a fraction of the development that New York does. Come on New York share some, please, just a little, lol. :-D

I kinda like the design of this tower. I hope that we fill that space on public square with a tower soon. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have no idea why any one would choose none other than thme not likeing the tower. I wish they would post some constructive criticism, for my towers. I am putting my work out for the pleasure of my fellow forumers, if you dont like them, tell me why please. help me grow as a artist and future architect and city planner. by the way this is just for fun, but who knows, maybe one day you will see one of these on a U.S. skyline. But maybe they are all ugly to some people, its not impossible, but tell me why. i love them all personaly and would like to see them all rise right here in Cleveland ohio, giving us aa imposing and prominent skyline.

My personal favorite and the one I would like to see rise in downtwon Cleveland is Tower number 2. Well you just get an idea of my vision for this tower. the color is off, I would prefer it to have silver tone reflective glass or something very high tech and shinny, but I love that tower. And on the side of the tower it would be lit up all the way to the top forming a pyramid type light in the sky. the lights would be on the parts on the side with the horizontal lines.

Its funny that you mention that, because I hated the idea in the first place. I first drew the tower without the funny looking base, but it was another person on the design teams idea to include this base. It would not kill me to lose the base, but then it would look more like the new World Trade Center and the Shanhgia World Finance Center

I should call the plain dealer and tell them that I am an Urban studies student who is proposing a new office tower for downtown Cleveland and see what happens, get some kind of attention then who knows maybe a developer will want to build it, but I am telling you, this is just a sample of my ability, I have a better looking tower that I want to put on public square. if I wasnt so busy with school I would scan this stuff at CSU, but I will later, but I would also like to see this baby in our city. Any help would be greatly appreiated. who know where I can take this thing. thnak you all for the comments and the support. A man is nothing with out his dreams,there isnt much else about us that defines us but our dreams and wekll, this is mine.

This towers purpose is to function more as a national landmark than as a funtion of amximizing office space. It would be better to me as a hotel and maybe a little office space, but it is meant to evoke civic pride. the base of the tower can be played with to interact with the public.
