  1. No, They can't. Who remembers the Tower City Amphitheater? I saw Harry Connick Jr. and Ratdog there. It hosted the Rib cookoff. Didn't last long.
  2. Except for that big patch of blue sky. How about some more development!
  3. It will be a lot of work and $. Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Thanks!
  4. Just because a small segment of that wall collapsed, does not necessarily mean it can't be restored. It's too pretty and historic not to make it productive again.
  5. And how about one at the parking lot where the Crazy Horse is?
  6. It’s got good bones. A little TLC and she will be pretty again.
  7. There are so many car washes in the area now. Every time I look around, someone is building another. Even if this were an attractive use for this property (which it's not), there can't be a big enough market for all these car washes.
  8. Actually, I'd like to think that moving the stadium will allow the muni lots to be developed. Build structured parking with lake view apartments above. No need for tailgating space.
  9. There's an irony in General Motors giving a grant to make an urban space more pedestrian friendly.
  10. When they leave, will the last institution that made Cleveland such a great city turn off the lights? :(
  11. That’s kind of what I was thinking. This may not be their final move. If the company is growing this fast, they will soon outgrow the Progressive campus.
  12. Isn’t there another location in the city of Cleveland which would suffice? It would be a black eye to the city to lose not only those jobs but the iconic institution that GLBC is.
  13. According to Crain’s, they lost out to Nippon Steel for 14.1 billion.
  14. But why can’t it be? Think big!
  15. Or a World’s fair. Other cities ( like Seattle) have used an exposition to show off what their city had to offer. It could be held at Burke Airport.
  16. … and when will we be seeing that Ken? Hmm??
  17. Point well taken. Whatever it’s called it has an awesome character
  18. I reluctantly have to agree. I think that more density is always better but why didn’t they design the building to fit the more Victorian character of the neighborhood. Also, I was on Hessler on Saturday evening for the CWRU football game. Why don’t they have streetlights? It is dark and uncomfortable in what should be a fabulous neighborhood.
