  1. I agree. It's a throwback to seats in historic stadiums.
  2. Drywallers move quick. You know a layoff is coming soon when the drywall starts going up. The relevant news is that they have to really hustle to get other areas of the building ready for them & keep them busy. Hopefully, the exterior cladding will be finished very soon. Speaking as a former carpentry apprentice who sorta knows what he's talking about, but with a big enough grain of salt to give a full grown elephant high blood pressure.
  3. Ah yes, the old "Bonna Hookups & Variety" store. I wonder if it has anything to do with the church.
  4. This will be bittersweet for me. I took the Greyhound all the way to Anaheim in summer of 2021, had the best time of my life. But then again, I remember meeting a ventriloquist who called himself "The Joker" while waiting for my first bus... and there was that crackhead who ranted about being the Devil's ex GF all the way through Utah & Colorado... and I guess that dude who hopped around like a bunny & would randomly stop to stare at people without blinking for like 15 seconds at a time was weird. And I did see one person have a seizure & another (who was not wearing pants) have a heart attack... I get it, I really do.
  5. I agree. The Clinton one has character, whereas the Detroit Ave one is low budget, generic architecture. I for one envy the design standards in Columbus sometimes.
  6. When would this be happening? It looks like they're gonna knock down that old warehouse next to the Hope bridge. My Grandpa worked there until he died, and they built him a room to stay in since he lived a few counties away. I would love to see it one more time for old times sake.
  7. Loving the Hotel Cleveland sign
  8. I absolutely love these new marquees. Cleveland is coming up & I love it.
  9. I'm not crazy about the original structure being obscured, but I'm all in favor of expansion (And having ALL induction ceremonies in Cleveland). This design isn't bad, though.
  10. I was thinking of something like this. And my pick was Euclid Ave since it seems to me the most pedestrian interactive in downtown.
  11. You see ads for the Rock Hall at the Airport, but really nowhere else. But I am officially dreaming of a Rock walk of fame on Euclid Ave. Maybe each sidewalk square can be a concrete mural of a Rock Hall member, imagine that.
  12. Mayday, we here salute you for your tireless pursuit of upgraded construction photos 💯
  13. Starting to get serious Park Avenue vibes from Euclid Ave, with the way Sherwin Williams will hang over the horizon. Reminds me of the Metlife building over Grand Central.
