  2. By doing a little digging, I found out this new building will be 100,192 "Assignable Sq. Feet" but 154,142 "Gross building Area Sq. Feet". Whatever the hell that means.
  3. "One of the largest to house an academic program", from Kent State's website. https://www.kent.edu/kent/news/success/kent-state-breaks-ground-crawford-hall
  4. Yes, they are taking ground samples to see what they have to do to build a 200-300 foot tower. These are my thoughts. 😁 But what the hell do I know. 😜
  5. The Aeronautics building at Kent State. Concrete foundation is coming along.
  6. The Crawford College of Business finally getting underway! It will be the largest or one of the largest buildings to house an academic program at Kent State. They don't like giving details like sq. footage.
  7. New fire station in Brimfield update. It's looking pretty good.
  8. This construction crew is NOT messing around! Moving fast! đŸ€©
  9. Yes, and giving some of my damn construction photos some likes! C'mon People! 😜
  10. The downtown is now incredibly vibrant. But be cautioned, the hordes of young people can make you feel past your prime 😁
  11. The new city hall finally getting going. The cinder block wall on the right went up pretty quickly> Astonishingly, there is no basement.
  12. https://corporate.sherwin-williams.com/content/sherwin/corp/corp-aem-sherwin/us/en/media-center/building-our-future/bof-branding-assets/hq_project_photos.html Some great photos and information on the tower's foundation concrete pour!
  13. You missed out! The 80's effing ruled!
  14. I'm guessing its much easier and less time consuming to just put it all together now.
  15. That is serious business securing the crane in place. When the project is done, how do they get that bottom crane piece out of the cement?
  16. Hell, it looks like every one and their mother had two cranes up inside them. I hope Sherwin isn't feeling...inadequate...😏 đŸ€
  17. Thanks guys! This clears up my confusion. I didn’t really realize Cranes could be inside skyscrapers. The Lumens was outside. I thought Key Tower’s were too.
  18. Whoa, whoa, whoa
the Crane is going to be INSIDE the building?! đŸ€Ż
  19. Yes, I understand that. I’m confused by the crane’s base, as it is diamond shaped and juts into the foundation as seen by the caissons on either side of it. I guess when they finish pouring the foundation it will melt into the Crane base.
  20. Latest on the foundation today. I'm a little shocked that the concrete on the crane’s base seems to be intruding onto the foundation area, as seen by the caisson to the right, basically touching the crane base.
  21. Jesus Christ, give Bridgeworks the money already. I was at the HOF and they are in the middle of constructing something large. I just assumed the village was underway.
