Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Absolutely. I think it’s important that it fits in with the majestic big 3. I’m breathing a sigh of relief as it sounds like the design and where the HQ will be located is still very fluid and should be at least 600 feet. I’m genuinely concerned for KJP’s sources now. This confirms that the big wigs and fat cats are reading all his articles, with paranoia. I hope this last batch of information/disinformation wasn’t put out to find his sources.

I am impressed with Whipjacka’s speed with which he whipped up that rendering!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Breathtaking and iconic! Reminiscent of NYC style paint store architecture! It’s almost the height of two stories depending on the angle!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Per KJP’s article it is to be a 92,000 sq foot building so we can infer from that how many floors it could be. 25,000 sq foot floor plates would get you a four story building. Also, there is 43,560 sq feet in an acre. And the Jacobs lot is 1.17 acres, so...

Well, damn, now that the HQ is going to be 600 feet, let’s get that sumbitch back on public square where it belongs! Urban Ohio forumers, pat yourself on the back. You just added damn near 200 feet to the Headquarters.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Hey, if we keep trashing this piece of garbage design, the big wigs will have to convene for another meeting, I’m hoping. After all, we got them to add a few stories to the building! So I say this to you, big wigs who may be reading, if you think that box building is going to attract millennial talent, you are WAY out of touch!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I hope you’re right but that building right there is the height that KJP has reported that the main tower will be. About 450 feet.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
I don’t get it. Why would they purposefully put a rendering on the wrong lot?!

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
This is GOD AWFUL. A dull, lifeless, bleak, drab, monotonous glass box with a flat top. This is the best they could come up with?! THIS is supposed to attract young talent?! What planet are they on?! I am completely disappointed. For the love of god, can you at least put a spire or tapered top on it, Sherwin?!

I couldn’t agree more. It’s like when the Browns had that outrageous story of them contemplating Condoleeza Rice for General Manager. You feed a suspected leaker or leakers each a specific story, some absurd, some possible, and see which ones come out to the press. BOOM, then you know EXACTLY who is the leaker!

If they are drilling to bedrock again...we could be talking about a 350 foot building... Perhaps, to be built in the same time frame or Perhaps gathering information for future vertical expansion on top of the garage...

Absolutely, Yesterday’s and Don’t Cry are two highlights of the album. Another point of, did this really need to be a double album. Did we REALLY need two Don’t Cry’s?!

I always thought most of the Straddlin songs on it were just filler and I still skip them. I like your idea of the epics vs non epics separate discs.

Kent / Kent State University: Development and News
My parents met there in the 60’s. If not for the Robin Hood, I’m not alive! So, it was particularly sad to see it razed. I was last there right before it closed around 2009-10 and admittedly the memories are fuzzy, but it seemed to be in as good a shape as some of the downtown establishments.

There are rumors that the Wendy’s is going to be rebuilt. It’s pretty sickening that the beautiful Robin Hood was torn down for an expanded Wendy’s.

From KJP’s brand new article, the Sherwin skyscraper has an “East coast/NY style of architecture”. Anyone have any ideas what this could mean? Hit us up with some nice photos! 😉
