  1. SHW has actually had some difficulty attracting and retaining talent in some areas, for example IT. But not because they are located in Cleveland. While salary and retirement benefits are competitive, other factors such as little time off, inflexible remote work policies, no paternity leave, etc are incredibly outdated. If Sherwin wants to take the next step and really attract hungry young higher educated individuals, they have to start competing on work/life benefits. The new headquarters alone (regardless of location) will not magically solve this issue.
