  1. Appreciate the info! That makes a lot of sense, and I’m glad those new developments are proving that TOD can be a money maker. It’s baffling how many parking lots surround the rapid stations, there’s so much potential for those.
  2. I may have missed that one. Any idea why the change of philosophy from GCRTA in regards to TOD? Seemed like they were ok or just do nothing.
  3. I kind of hope Brian did that wording on purpose. Giving life to a building via making caskets for the dead.
  4. Ah, ok thanks for the clarification, I think I may have gotten a couple things mixed up then.
  5. Is there any talk/forward thinking going on in regards to building around stations? I know some TOD is happening around some stations, but I also know you’ve said in the past that the system is more designed for the 9-5 crowd and aren’t interested in changing.
  6. I feel like people that are throwing a fit about seating have not been on subways in other regions and countries.
  7. About time, I’m hoping the end of the article comes to fruition, where they can get ridership numbers back, create TOD’s, and expand. Not holding my breath though.
  8. I thought Nauti was bad and dirty even before the pandemic.
  9. Yes there’s still a box office you can walk up to and purchase tickets. You can also bring in your own water and snacks to the stadium. You don’t have to buy overpriced concessions. This is off topic though.
  10. You also get a free drink/food voucher with that ticket.
  11. I like just watching games, but I also enjoy heading to the corner bar and standing at the drink rails watching the game. You cannot deny the success it has had. Coor’s Field has a similar beer garden like they are proposing to build in left and right field. There are fans constantly in that section for games.
  12. Nope, at my first go at college, I took a couple courses at the Holden building. Very high tech building, gives students around here tons of opportunities. Lakeland does a nice job in my opinion.
  13. I believe Laketran offers free rides for Lakeland students already. Was thinking about taking it when I was taking classes there a couple semesters ago.
  14. Mentor loves their chains!
  15. Hopefully more large warehouses are built in Cleveland proper. I got my start in one and worked my way up in the company to a lot better job and pay in the supply chain world.
  16. So with that and the money it is getting from the city will this be able to start now?
  17. Here’s hoping they move it to Cleveland proper.
  18. FIVE MINUTES! I’m ready to be disappointed.
  19. I can safely say working with a bunch of union workers that they are MAGA as well.
  20. It was a problem even before Covid for this city.
  21. Cleveland needs to figure out how to stop companies from leaving city limits.
  22. I feel like that should be standard at every station.

I could have sworn there was an opening RTA was going to close up (I think under Terminal Tower?). I might just be confused though.

Didn’t Cleveland start building out underground railways but quickly abandoned? I’m hoping we don’t fill those in.
  25. I’ve heard from someone reliable that NRP’s project will be breaking ground next month.
