How the heck did East Cleveland land that?

I kept meaning to ask this. Are Cleveland and the county being strategic and trying to take up large empty buildings like they did for the police HQ and the Plain Dealer building? Or did it just happen that way?

We also have the Mentor Marsh with brand new trials throughout which is nice.

It’s why I’ve been getting into native gardening. I’m unfortunately part of the problem (live in Mentor and HATE it, but my wife wants to be near family due to kids). I’ve been slowing converting my .75 acre lot of grass back to native trees, shrubs and plants.

Police HQ is already looking good, some of the windows are already installed. Going to have a great presence there.

Good, most soccer stadiums are old and full of history, go that route.

This has serious street presence. I was downtown for the Guards game Saturday and just happened to look down the street and saw it. Pointed it out to my wife too.

I would love this, how would even go about pulling something like that off?

Why’s everything catching fire recently?

Yeah I’d rather have our teams take a page from Europe and play in old stadiums and just stay put. My favorite team Liverpool, which is a money maker, are still playing in their century old stadium and have no plans to move.

Sounds like you’re the one not following the facts. The riot that happened in Willowick did in fact have arrests (20 kids) and none were from Lake County.

You’d think they use a different method to grow these trees.

Was downtown yesterday and the amount of dead trees was staggering. Add that on to the random holes in the road and sidewalk I noticed a well. City has a lot of work to do.
