  1. ^its moving, rehab of brick facade is pretty intricate.
  2. Knowing the development team, this has little chance of being built as designed.
  3. Another Vocon snoozer.
  4. Also, understanding the difference in nomenclature of streets, avenues and roads.
  5. Why do you think it’s going to be blank?
  6. Funny, but they reused that lion on the front entry as the "Coliseum" sign for the party center.
  7. They're probably still there...
  8. Updated skyline per KJP's article...
  9. “Looking very forward.”
  10. ^I've seen that photo before but haven't been able to place it in the past. Amazing.
  11. And another dead zone along West 25th is cemented until this thing can be torn down in 40 years...
  12. I’m surprised it would even be ahead of Mississippi.
  13. Zoning code changes continue to happen incrementally but this parking requirement is pretty ridiculous. Luckily we have an accommodating Board of Zoning Appeals. Without it you wouldn’t see 80% of the development we have here.
  14. The 9 is also part hotel
  15. Rumor has it, a large contingent of Chicagoans (Ohio City Legacy LLC) were at Bakersfield tonight partying. Probably feeling out the local vibrations for a night or two after closing on the sale of the property.
  16. Be prepared for uninspired, terribly designed townhomes.
  17. Not sure pop ups are creative or economically worthwhile for new construction.
  18. Carnegie looks like it was a livable street at that point.
  19. I tend to agree on this, as much as the Terminal Tower is a giant in the idea of what Cleveland is. The pedestrian experience for Prospect and Superior west of the hotel, and the entirety of Huron is an utter disaster. The old post office is possibly a worse offender than the Justice Center. If buildings fronted the north side of Superior west of the hotel and an expansion of the hotel occurred at the current pit that could really change things though.
  20. ^to that Union Terminal overhead view photo, thank god the depression didn't hit in the middle of that scorched earth demolition plan. We might still have a hole the size of 10 city blocks.
  21. The building will be renovated into a residence
  22. Another little detail I hope they revive are the lights at the tops of the vertical posts on the top of the facade. Those used to light up as well.
  23. What's the point of upgrading if you're never allowed to park there?....
  24. That map showing the bans in red is not 100% accurate. At the very least the west side of E9th from Prospect to Euclid also has a ban.
