Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
Parking is only in the interior, bothProspect and Euclid facades will be flanked with units

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Between Frangos and Shiai there is new blood working into the surface parking lot business on this side of town, to this point it's business as usual, not sure I expect it to change given some direct interactions.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
I've heard good things about the potential of this moving forward as well. Not sure when, but it's in the very early stages.

Cleveland: Downtown: A.J. Celebrezze Federal Building Renovation
The recladding is done people. The north and east facades do not require the same thermal protection as the other two facades due to the fact that those facades’ solar heat gain is minimal, this explaning the different systems on those faces. That being said I think it’s ridiculous that they didn’t at least bring the glazing all the way to the top. It looks terrible.

Shaker Heights: Van Aken District Transit Oriented Development
RTA is a joke. Though maybe it's hard to imagine possible expansion in the future when you're trying to keep your head above water, handing out free medical coverage and settlements in the meantime... In my opinion the current Highland golf course should be developed with high to medium density over most of the site with multiple connections to an extended blue line down Northfield. It took me 8 seconds to recognize that by looking at Google Earth.

Yep, that’s what a porno theater looks like.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
I remember they were thinking August for the crane to be constructed. Doesn't look like that's going to happen

Over a 24 hour period that’s an average hourly departure more frequent than the red line at peak hours.

124 daily trains... damn...

Cleveland: Slavic Village: Development and News
Interesting to consider what might have come of the complex if it hadn't burnt down. Perhaps it could have been a renovation to new uses, with it's scale it could have had an enormous impact on bringing Broadway back to a functioning neighborhood. GD shame.

Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
^Krenzler, behind only Albert Porter as perhaps the greatest villain to urbanity in Cleveland history. In my opinion...

Cleveland: Historic Photos
It's so easy to imagine this scene as a currently thriving neighborhood. Our great grand-parents (depending on how old you are I suppose) squandered our future on freeway exits and parking lots.

Cleveland: Historic Photos
Ruined my afternoon. Looks like a ready made residential neighborhood built up to one of the edges on Downtown to me. So glad we eliminated it for CSU parking and other worthless motives. What a joke.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Let's hope the final design of the actual buildings is more inspiring than these renderings. Excellent scale though to be sure.

Cleveland: Duck Island: Development and News
"LOL, it's garbage. Nice building that should have stayed a garage or warehouse. The rehab was obviously done with not intention or input on design. Why would you put muntined white vinyl windows in an industrial building?" You know... Cheapest crap out there.

Cleveland: Duck Island: Development and News
Hearing the carter road proposal has stalled due to engineering costs for securing the hillside. Nope, it’s slowly progressing.

Can't see the images, all I get is a do not enter emblem.

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower City / Riverview Development
K&D's design sensibility is trash (website only adds to my thoughts on that). Hopefully they don't screw this up.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
It was stated upthread that the crane should be in the sky in August

Cleveland Neighborhoods
Which explains why so many of the City's streets are a complete visual mess.
-
Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Isn't this City owned land KJP? If so it gives them a heavy hand in what is proposed from a zoning and design standpoint. They don't have the "right" to build it until they own it. If the City were truly against this development it wouldn't happen.

Great, more useless green space across the street from... more useless unusable green space. What a waste.
