  1. Sounds like he’s wishing, not trying to. The columns hold up the entire 21 story structure. They aren’t going anywhere
  2. Loved the Ground Round on Lakeshore Blvrd in Willowick as a kid, pay-what-you-weight Monday’s. Also, a weird thing, whenever I’m in a place that plays the tv with no sound but has music on I think of GR since they used to do that with their tv’s.
  3. A little May Co action in that shot too. About 500 units under construction in that view...?

    250' above Shaker Heights.
  5. Never realized that the B&O Terminal was right in the mix of the typical street grid. Cool photo.
  6. ^That's really great news all around.
  7. Best shots of the skyline are from the Lake.
  8. Looks like Gospel Press will be tumbling down Jefferson... These renderings are trash. They can't be bothered to drive the 14 minutes from Lakewood to get a non-Google streetview image for it?
  9. They probably only pay for the "jump" sections for how long they actually need them.
  10. No pic, but we have a jumped crane.

^He used us to repair his image in 2014, we used him for a championship in 2016. We’re even in my mind but I hoped he’d join a team with the motivation to beat the Warriors. I could have gotten on board with that, but this seems like an ego trip.

Was hoping he’d go to Houston and try to beat the Warriors. I guess life style (whatever that means) is more important than winning now for Lebron, because this Lakers team isn’t going to do jack.
  13. As a Fernway resident, this development is pretty amazing to say the least. Great connection for east side rapid users as well.
  14. The posts on the top of the facade were once lit on top as well, would be great to get those and the clock up and running again
  15. Can we build one on top of the BP garage...?
  16. Sloppiest demo I've ever seen
  17. It will not be replaced.
  18. Maybe if a large scale development came along next to Kan Zaman they could simply move the entry to be off Franklin. Parking could be moved to the west, freeing West 25th of surface lots.
  19. I agree that there is a demand for condos in Cleveland, but the developers and banks are telling the market they aren't worth the risk at the current price point. If it's true that banks are scared of condos due to the Avenue District that's a weak position to take. That was built just before the crash and is in a virtual no-man's land. The bank that lent on that is the problem, not condos in general. Maybe someone should discuss these points with the state historic tax credit people.
  20. Condos are the most litigated type of development, some architects and engineers won't even work on them, freaking lawyers love them. It becomes a mob mentality with buyers/tenants once anything goes wrong in a building.
  21. It's very difficult to sell anything, condo or townhome, for $250-300k. Meaning the cost of land plus construction makes it all but impossible for a developer to make money. Everyone keeps begging for condos but banks want too much upfront cash and condos are an a$$ ache for developers due to getting sued by tenants when any little thing goes wrong. Get a lawyer in the bunch and you're screwed. Apartments and fee simple townhomes and single family are much more palatable from a developer standpoint at the moment.
  22. Read that river article, why don’t many of these reporters at cleveland.com understand that there are streets and avenues in this City? The old newspaper articles shown in that article sure get it right.
  23. Amazing. A very eerie video, the lakefront was very clearly a dumping ground for dredging and trash. Its neglect originates from this time period.
  24. ^That's what happens when you hire a structural engineer to design buildings.
