I'm doing work with them on Capitol Theater. What a nightmare.

Owners of 310 Prospect... It's really a shame that the worst parking lot owners are located in California because I wouldn't enjoy anything more than throwing a brick through the window of their residents with a photo of the building to be demoed. Maybe it's best they are located in California.

There are 6 pages on this thread that talk about the difference.

Rando in Cleveland - part 2
Yeah, W25th and Detroit isn't exactly the core of Ohio City.

For contemporary Mexican, go to Momocho on Fulton Road in Ohio City. Excellent guacamole. I also think it was rated the second best modern mexican restaurant in the country.

Flats didn't have any impact, it's still in the works, and there is a hotel on board.

I like the view down Euclid, but I hope it disappears sooner rather than later...

Well, you can kiss the 310 Prospect Building goodbye. Damnit. What a horrible company.

I'm with you Straphanger. Gensler is far from exciting, but really, this is one spot where it's like, just get something on there. The height I like, lets the Terminal Tower remain viewable from any direction. BP killed the downtown approach from the east, and I'd hate to miss a full view from the Shoreway.

Architecture aside, that rendering is poorly done.

North Randall: Randall Park Mall
I remember the huge fountain in the middle of the mall the best. Euclid Square Mall also had some pretty amazing fountains (some are still working).

Yeah, the music at Redstone is a real problem. I don't like sipping a Sierra Nevada while listening to the best of Linkin Park.

Cleveland: Cleveland Institute of Art Expansion
Yeah, that budgets are a biatch. As for MOCA, they are still in the fundraising stage, so no public renderings so far.

Cleveland: Cleveland Institute of Art Expansion
This process is weird. Why were all the budgets from the first consultants right on, 13 times?!? Then they get one that is way off from a Boston firm, and freak out. Why not seek a third opinion and see who is right? It will be an architectural tragety if MVRDV is thrown off this project and are stuck with the sub-pedestrian Burt Hills of the world. And unfortunately, the MOCA design has been stripped down to barebones because of budget as well. Wonder if Office da is getting the run around from the developers.

Weird.

Cleveland: The Residences at 668 Euclid Avenue
Actually the developer of the Park Building was considering taking the old Dollar Bank Building on Euclid in exchange for 10 years worth of free rent for Dollar Bank in the Park. Obviously it didn't go through though.

They should call it Decent Mac Shack.

Cleveland: Downtown: Convention Center Atrium & Expansion
The fact that they will be running the convention center as well makes the deal more solid in my mind.

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Really, the huge sign, if done correctly, might end up being the coolest thing in the whole development. They used to have huge signs all over this city: On top of the BF Keith Building announcing Playhouse Square, Society Bank on Public Square, National Trust at Lorain and W25th, Hotel Cleveland, etc. It will probably be the only unique thing about FEB. The rest of it could be located anywhere in the country from the looks of the renderings.

I'd rather see a secured abandoned building than a surface lot any day of the week.

Cuyahoga County: Corruption Probe
There were a lot of things going thru my mind of what I should say, but my La Fin Du Monde filled brain came up with information that's a little easier to access.

Cleveland: Downtown: Technology Center
I couldn't care less about the historic aesthetics of the building, I just don't want to see yet another surface lot.
