  2. wow! I hope they open up the central pkwy side like that too
  3. I would love to see a Larosas
  4. omg why walls that high? If you had to have brick walls, at least make waist high. That looks like they all have a floodwall out front.
  5. John Schneider for Mayor!!!!
  6. My productivity at work just went in the toilet. Great News!!! Let's go....
  7. ^^I was going to mention that too, John. Coincidence indeed!!
  8. That's disturbing..
  9. Because people in the burbs have never blamed the city over anything, right?!?!? You want to act like an ass, you will be treated like one here. Your comments and your tone over the past few days has shown your true colors.
  10. This is great news for the western side of the CBD. Everyone needs to relax and wait on more details.
  11. We will just have to wait and see. KC this year. TBD 2013 and so on...
  12. Downtown Indianapolis is like a hard shoe. Large footprint, hardly any ridges. A streetcar would have helped get around such an open area. Maybe the Cincinnati Streetcar will make Bud Selig think of a valid reason why he hasn't and has no plan to put an MLB All-Star game in ten-year old Great American Ballpark. ^2015 is when we get it. Some friends of mine who work for the reds tell me this. The Reds organization and the city don't want it before then because they want the Banks, casino, streetcar, and a few other projects complete and operational. MLB is on board too.

Ive been cable free for over a year and a half. I bought a Logitec Revue (google tv) in Dec and love the commercial free channels on TV Redux. I have mlb.tv and netflix too. $110 savings per month than when I was with TW.
  14. Then we should make groundbreaking that day, with or without Ray Ray...... Bet that would get Smitherman's panties all bunched up.
  15. Can the current building housing Western and Southern withstand any amount of development being built above? Like the Hearst..
  16. Forgive me for my ignorance, but what's the deal with underground Atlanta?
  17. ^That'd be cool by me. On a side note, building all those noise walls in the suburbs really paid off, huh!?!?!?
  18. That could be a good repopulation plan for Hamilton County to bring people back
  19. I noticed that too! Feel free to add your two cents to their site.
  20. ^Dare the Enquirer to print that! Well put!
  21. Yeah this is not a problem, unless the operator is incompetent. I operate heavy equipment for a living and work under all kinds of overhead wires, at many different heights, on a daily basis. Also, the wires would be insulated to prevent accidents when working near them. Agree, this is BS. My father worked as an operator for years. He laughed when I told him this.
  22. Last gasp of an irrelevant organization! Luken has been off his meds for some time now. Finney and Miller are just pissed because they lost, twice! Tear....
  23. ^I'd love to hear it! The excitement and progress being made in the basin is something I've dreamed of since I was a child. The old riverfront was horrible and desolate. Bravo to you John and everyone else involved, on whats been accomplished thus far!
  24. ^^Agree. No need for it to go any father south, except to cross over to Newport later. We need to focus on the Uptown link now
